Have to agree, whether he has said sorry or I love you out loud, his actions are screaming it. Some people find it difficult to say so show it, and then some simply can't see it unless it's said. And what she did at the end was toxic, Plus with such a sleazeball, guy is the worst. If that was just to make Hao Ming jealous the guy should leave her to the playboy who will toss her aside like trash in a few months.
I never thought ML was that bad just a bit of a jerk (but understandably though) and even though FL actually fully deserved what happened due to her own actions, I did sympathise to an extent, but that scene no that was not on. ML should bring Fang Lei back lol or Sun Si Wei.

I'm going to make a proper effort, Finish the K & Cdramas i'm part through and then jump into 2 or 3 Jdramas at once and get a couple finished. I feel the ones I've tried the feel of them is different to Korean and Chinese shows (best way I can explain lol) I initially struggled when I first jumped into Cdramas but not as much.

The fact they keep doing these age gaps tells more than the negative comments do.
if the actor is 25 and maybe also a Kpop idol with millions of teen girl fans, of course they are going to cast a 16 year old, because the amount of fans who will be, oh she's my age I have a chance fantasy, far outweigh the negative comments about age.
And then you have the other way older woman late 30's with guy in 20's, to appeal to the bored housewives etc.
Not saying either right, just that I get why they happen.

Am aware, If this was filmed 2016 she would have been 18 Korean and 16 international. I think it was June 16' when it was filmed so a few months shy of 17 international age. I don't think it's that young it's more a modern thing, not long ago most would be married with children by her age.
Less people probably would have an issue if the ML was closer in age.
This will be the 1st Japanese drama I finish, I've attempted 3 others but didn't get past the 1st episode. I started with Korean then Chinese (and random Taiwanese series) having difficulty getting into Japanese for some reason.
I gave it a 7.5, unlike some I liked the FL. I lowered it due to the show just ignoring the fact the ML'S friend raped FL's sister which had a major factor in her suicide, it's not even brought up, and he gets redeemed and is almost laughing about it with 2FL at the end as a misunderstanding. I get 2FL she had psychological issues.
As man from the west, from her body language she didn't want it, and from what i'm aware of Asian culture subordinate and women are expected not to say no to superior. So that was the reason for my low score .
Thinking of trying this as its popped up on Netflix. But I tend to avoid stuff with leads who have messy scandals in their personal lives, might try it but she is not the only one. Should just avoid reading about them lol.

He never made her suffer? What happened up to the divorce request was her doing lol He saw it as a business deal with a scammer, he had no way to know she genuinely loved him. It's only after the divorce request and he sees her working hard not taking anything that he realises he misread her (which was her fault which she accepted herself ) an he starts to realise he actually has feelings for her.
Unless he does something terrible after episode 19, I understand his actions.
