Its sounds like a very dark and complicated story. Even though I love that kind of stuff, I still need to be in the right mood for it. Not sure if that is right now but I will for sure watch it at some point.

LHDJ was not out for revenge for himself would not be pacified unless Bailin dijun dies to deliver justice not revenge for all the lost souls from his genocide against the demon race. He repents and hopes to reincarnate and make himself worthy again after thousands of years. My guess is he becomes a cockroach. It will take him a lot of amazing karma to become a cockroach demon much less a mortal... LHDJ dies with him because I guess because he gave half his heart to Xuanju and the other half to Xifeng. Ikr WTF??? But in all seriousness, I feel quite sorry for him. I mean, what a big f*** up!!!

I am way to lazy to count anything from spitting blood to kissing... But if I were to do one, I think its way better to count the latter rather than the former...

After he discovers his daughter's death was not an accident but that she was murdered, Zhang Haifeng participates in a science experiment that sends him into his own subconscience to try to discover who, how, when and why. So it seems he goes back in time but he doesn't really. His subconcious memory reveals that Zhao Binbin was working with Sun Xiaomeng because she blames him for her father's accidental death. His guilt at being an overworked cop and a negligent father colors how he wishes things could have play out differently each time but with certain inevitable outcomes each time (ie, everyone who dies still dies just in a different way). It ends with him imagining at the end that he adopts both Binbin and Xiaomeng when they were abandoned at the orphanage as a final act of atonement or a way to change the course of events as they occured later. It is a very sad ending because it is just a hallucination, what actually happened is what we are told in the very beginning and cannot be changed. This is just a lot of guesswork on my part and someone else probably may have a much different intrepetation.

I will be honest I really didn't like ~40s to 53 but the last few are really redeeming this show for me.

Ridiculous and unfathomable. Oh well, at least it was 12 episodes down the drain and not 40-ish.

As best I can tell, it was just a science/memory experiment. But still lots of holes. The original account was what really happened and all the rest is some kind of hallucination induced by a science experiment, possibly to discover in his sub-conscious memory why Sun Xiaomeng/Zhao Binbin targeted him/his family to begin with. I need to go back to rewatch to really figure it out but I don't think I will bother the last two were so messy I don't even know if it is worth the effort.

She is pretty much willing to destroy the 3 realms for her love... I mean it worked out but... idk...

Wow! I have never seen a drama implode so badly in the last episode. It deserves an award for that because it takes a special talent to accomplish such a thing. This had so much promise but wow my rathing went from ~8.5 to 7.0. Lots of loose threads that are not explained at the end. Super frustrating.

I will watch it but I think it will be a VERY different kind of drama than this one and so will be his role there....

I tell you these geriatric gods are so dangerous look what mess they make when they are senile...
