I actually really like this alternate version of yours. It does make a lot of sense and consistent with Petch's supposed "wise and calm" attitude.

Hope they show it in the drama for us non-novel readers.

yeah LR was good. It was well executed. The storyline was solid and gripping. Loser Sunjae was the nickname that got famous but not in a bad way. Do try it if you have time.

atm I find it cringe too, but in later ep, the reason why she pretends is related to her PR presentation, which I think is quite clever
