Maybe peek in few episodes, and if it feels right for you, you can continue watching. To me, the first 8 episodes were a little dull, but the story catches after 10ish episodes.

I'm a little biased, but overall I enjoyed it quite a lot. It depends on how much you focus on the storyline. If you try to understand the story and think deeply about relationships etc, you might find some plots cheap, but it is great if you just want to enoy it.
