Am I the only one who thinks this drama is like Perfect Marriage Revenge?
Only in the time travel department. Other than that at least IMO, PMR had consistent characters who were likeable IMO. It had more twists and the drama was actually enjoyable. Plus the ML who is supposed to represent a handsome and charming man isn't really all that in MMH. I liked the ML in PMR much better.
The FL in PMR stayed true to her character. She had a plan in her mind from the start and sticked to it. I found she was a lot smarter and classy. in her methods in the way she got her revenge. The FL in MMH got help from the ML because she was very weak and had a character change and became a "bad ass" as some call her. Her ways of getting revenge is using violence as much as possible. She is pretty daft in my opinion.
I understand her bf is a huge asshole, but the way hes getting all the blame and her so called "best friend" is getting away with it rubs me the wrong way when she is just as much at fault as he is if not more because shes the one who seduced him.
The FL suddenly turned into a wonder woman and had a complete personality change in the span of an episode. Unrealistic.
She is also not smart at all. She has no plan, and does what the ML tells her to. All she focuses on is using violence to make the ML feel like shit because she can't do anything else. Its not fun.
There isn't a single character I like in this drama. I only watched it because the premise was interesting and I love revenge dramas, but all the characters are unlikeable to me at this point.
Jesus. A few years age difference can throw some people off this much? 17 is close to adult anyway, they could be few months away from 18. Is it just me who doesn't see the age difference as a big deal?
I don't like it. Their relationship is very cliche. How did they fall in love? Why are they being shipped the rest of the guys from the start especially Tharns brother? That is cringy.
I also don't like how Tharn is clearly meant to be the bottom here. He is small, weak and acts like a girl. Very stereotypical. I like BLs where both of the guys are more or less manly.
I don't know how I feel about this. I am probably dropping it. I liked it at the start. But the SML who i watched this for appears in ep 5 and for a main character that is very late and I don't like him already. He has a totally different characters I imagined him to have.
I don't like the FL because of her attitude towards people. especially older people. She is rude. I also feel lot of things here are exaggerated for comedic purposes. Like how she kicked the molester guy for saying her friend is ugly. That just seemed unrealistic and out of place.
I feel like this is a drama you should NOT take seriously and just turn your brain off to. If you want a drama to be immersed in and think deeply about, then this is NOT for you.
Unfortunately, for me to be watching this kind of drama, I MUST like the main leads, and here I don't.
Right? The double standards in this show were driving me up the wall.! Why do the villagers get a free pass to…
Because they heard the FL badmouthing them openly? From what I seen the villagers did not badmouth her in front of her. Big difference.
Also, the way she talks to some people is very rude. Like she talked to the old lady at the clinic and told the other lady go grill fish differently. She might be kind hearted, but she has a very unlikeable attitude and bad tempered. The way she kicked that sexual predator guy or whatever he was is exaggerated and unrealistic. I think it was there for comedic purposes, but still unrealistic.
On ep 6 and dropping it. As someone who was recommended to watch this after All of us are dead, there is very little action in Happiness. The characters are unlikeable to me. I disagree with some things like the zombies are still human, and the zombies themselves in my opinion are not really scary and act very strange. Why would some zombies react differently? This means they are not proper zombies. The only memorable scene I have is when the FL was locked in the bathroom with the zombie woman.

I also don't like their love story, and I just finished ep 1.
