I never thought that Seong Jae and Su bin would be the highlight of this show, but here we are. I was dreading the impending relationship, but am really loving them.
The manipulative mom is the absolute worst. I hope by the end of the show she’s left broke and all alone, wallowing in her misery. She deserves nothing.
I’m glad that Ji Hyuk didn’t isolate and shut down like I thought he would when he failed. Character development!
The wife’s sister is trash, Glad she got put in her place and yay for her passing the real estate license test! Too bad the son is an idiot but it seems like he’s learned his lesson except for not running away from Hanna.
Wish more people watched this show. It’s pretty decent compared to other shows that have dropped this year.
This episode was so good until the annoying jerk’s face came onscreen towards the end. I hate him so freaking much.
Taepoong having that goofy grin whenever he sees Miseon is so freaking cute. I also love how their first kiss was an actual one and not one of those lame fish kisses. This show is good enough as it is with the characters and storyline, but the kiss elevated it.
I know it’s realistic to see a company struggle, especially during the financial crisis, but I was hoping for some good wins at this point. The Typhoon family (which now includes the friend) deserve the world.
You’re right, but it would still be awful. I can’t imagine the father going along with everything, and Do ha wanted to be an architect not his brother. He looks wistful looking at the planetarium designs. Hope I’m not wrong.
I know her relationships with men are toxic but these men are blinded by whatever she has, maybe beauty or smooth…
I don’t think the cafe owner asked for any of this. I’m surprised she didn’t drag the coworker into it, because he was also a nice guy and worried about her.
also the bestie and sister they are so cute together
I was cringe-waiting for the lame “I’m broke now so we have to break up speech” but it never happened and he told her the truth and she supported him! My heart leaped.
Ha Gyeong is so freaking exhausting. Is she going to threaten Do Ha every single episode with “let’s never see each other again.” I know there is a reason why she’s upset, but we don’t know the reason and she’s so annoying. Whine whine my summers suck, rinse and repeat. Do ha saved her life in the basement and instead of thanking him she whined yet again about how he’s ruined everything. Breaking down the walls was your genius idea, and then everything flooded as he predicted because he’s the expert. You’re not as smart as you think you are.
Speaking of smart, wonder when we will find out why she went to medical school but isn’t a doctor. She gets called a doctor occasionally, but she also took the civil service exam. Already adds to the confusion of what is already a confusing show.
I like the secondary leads and hope to see them more. Interested to see how the guy is in a wheelchair, and I feel bad for the friend since it seems her grandfather doesn’t like him because of it. Boo on the grandfather.
Maybe tomorrow we get more answers, in between FL continuously threatening the ML. Or we will left being more confused, but at least we will get to see the adorable golden retriever. Finally a k drama dog that isn’t chained outside all the time!
I hope that’s the end of the son’s annoying plotline. All of those guys and especially Hana were awful so I would just fast forward their scenes. The actor deserves better.
Awwww I love the doggie. Was wondering how he knew the shortcut. Wish he wasn’t chained up all the time- poor guy.
She is completely crazy. Her whole world revolves around her. She is staying very true to the sociopathy and showing…
Same. On other shows there have been sociopaths that seem to have the potential to be rehabilitated, but that is likely not to happen to her. I don’t expect anything other than her dying or going to jail at the end.
Episode three really raised my blood pressure and four sent it through the roof. Way to throw those that supported you under the bus. Certified nut job, but I can’t look away from this madness. I don’t think there has been a scarier female lead in a kdrama (that I’ve watched). Wondering what she will do next!
Just finished the first two episodes and need to take a break because that was intense, in the best way. What a crazy origin story for Ae Jin- no wonder she’s a psychopath with all the awful things that happened to her. The younger version always kills it in whatever role she plays- she was really good recently in Confidence Queen. What a talented young actress!
Speaking of talented, KYJ is nailing her role. Her dead-eyes give me the chills. Liking the other two male leads as well and interested in seeing how they intertwine with Ae Jin when she becomes a famous actress.
Kim Ji Hoon! What a treat- second show he’s in that I’m currently watching. Hope he has a big part.
I love how the main couple is actually acting like one when they get together- hand holding, hugging, small kisses. It’s so freaking cute unlike other shows that show grown adults acting like inexperienced teens. More of this, please! Also love that everything is out in the open and they are allowed to be honest with each other. I also appreciate that the secondary couple are inching towards their own storyline, instead of it solely circling around SFL’s feelings towards ML. It was refreshing that she immediately knew how selfish and childish she was with telling Meri about Woosik’s past connection and family, and felt remorse.
Too bad the meddling ex and his equally horrible family is getting in the way from me thoroughly enjoying this show. The villain is also completely ridiculous at this point with how every single villain trope is thrown at him. I hope his son is the one to bring him down- he seems like a nice guy who is looking out for his mom and cousin.
