Episode 13 was pretty good, but then episode 14 happened and I couldn’t believe they went that route. Absolutely unnecessary! Wish there were more family scenes as well- that family dinner in episode 13 where they were all having a good time and laughing at the awkward proposal was definitely a highlight.
I slogged through the last two episodes hoping it could get better, but with better editing and dialogue this all could have been fit in one episode. I’m still confused what’s going on, and we are halfway done!
So much talent wasted on bad dialogue and redundant “pensive, evil staring.” Usually the main leads pick good scripts, so no idea if everything on paper looked good but the execution sucked. Will still watch the last four episodes, but won’t be expecting much.
I can’t take that head thug seriously since he sounds like a high pitched cartoon character.
The radish and plunger slap had me laughing so hard that I had tears in my eyes. I think this show has gotten better by the week since they aren’t showing the FL as being dumb and incompetent.
What a relaxing and healing show, but then episode 10 happened. I don’t even know what to think after watching the episode and that crazy ending. Would have preferred to have seen another beautiful town she was traveling to while bonding with Yeon Seok. I liked that we got some FL healing, but after that abrupt ending there better be more future episodes.
I was bummed we didn’t get to see the pesto spaghetti during the competition, but yay for getting to see it later. The cooking scenes continue to be fantastic! So happy the other cooks are on her side.
The political stuff is still confusing since it seems that there are multiple people that are out to get the King, and I want to fast forward Consort Kang’s scenes whenever I see her face since it’s all the same old scheming scenes.
The leads continue to knock it out of the park, but Lee Chae Min has been exceptionally good. I’ve liked him since Crash Course in Romance, but after this he’s definitely going to be one of the new “it” actors.
The thing I like most is that this drama makes you think: was she at fault or not?For example, the doctor didn't…
I think that’s the difficult part of the case- you can’t save anyone with an aortic dissection unless you do an emergency surgery, which couldn’t be done in an airplane.
What a fantastic episode that I didn’t look at my phone once the entire hour. The case was thought-provoking with how medical ethics works. It really hit close to home because I still remember a medical case 21 years ago where a 5 year old was beaten physically and sexually so bad that her jaw was wired shut and she had bruises and fractures all over. I would burst into tears all week taking care of her and watching her get better while raging over who did this to her (her dad and his friend). If those animals were in front of me needing to be saved, I have no idea how I would have acted. Humans truly suck, and I liked the tie in at the end of how the doctor wasn’t convicted because of the choices others made.
Seok Hun and Hyo Min taking care of the twins was the cutest thing ever. Felt so bad for their situation, but it’s infinitely better than being stuck with their deadbeat mom. Again, humans suck.
Couldn’t really understand what tomorrow’s case is about with the previews, but it looks intriguing since it will delve into Hyo Min’s past trauma.
“Why is a grown man not dressed properly?” I couldn’t stop laughing since he was trying to look sexy and she was just confused. Scenes like these are what is elevating this show from others so far, along with the amazing cooking ones.
I can do less with meddling Consort Kang. She’s all over the place and becoming an annoying hag. Wondering how she obtained so much power for being a concubine.
Finally a show that had a satisfying and not so rushed ending. Loved all of it! Will be sad that I won’t be seeing these characters every weekend. Thanks for the wonderful ride.
Why was I an emotional mess this episode when I knew exactly what would happen? This show is so good!
I know I didn’t watch this show for realism, but I did have to side eye that he came back to coaching a week after he had a cardiac arrest during surgery. If the surgery was going to be this easy-peasy he should have done it earlier in the season!
So glad the female shooters are bonding and not shown as cutthroat rivals. At least the annoying dad got put into place by his daughter, and can’t wait until the principal and shooting coach get put in their place for being corrupt.
Cant wait until tomorrow, but will be sad to see this show be done. It was so unexpectedly good!
Yikes with the comments. I don’t think it’s that bad, but I have a decent tolerance (though I have dropped a few dramas recently).
This one is an easy watch and doesn’t require many brain cells, so I just drink in the eye candy, forget the second lead is an asshole stalker, and have it on in the background. The older sister is finally not insufferable so her scenes are bearable. I still can’t believe she was that irresponsible and screwed over her family like that, and just ran away instead of trying to pay down the debt.
