I love how Mi Soon seems to genuinely be happy that she’s surrounded by a loving family after she’s been alone for so long. She wanted to move in with her in laws, when most women would want their own space. She’s such a warm character and I’m happy she’s getting the ending she deserves.
Weird how we are surrounded by couples, yet only one shows any sort of physical intimacy (Ok Bun and HS). I wonder if it’s an acting choice or the writers, but it’s off-putting.
The MIL is awful. Why would GS constantly want to be treated like crap yet protect that horrible person? I don’t care if she has dementia- she is always demeaning her and being rude.
I was confused about Drugmon’s flashback. She’s mad at her sister for taking her place while she lived a miserable life in the US? Her sister was a child- how was she supposed to know the adopted parents were druggies? And now she wants to kill her. I am surprisingly shipping her with the Russian mafia guy, even though he’s a piece of crap.
I do like this show and the actors and characters, but feel it suffers from not having weekly cases and focusing on one main villain. It’s getting old and tedious.
First episode I was bored with. It seemed like a filler episode in which absolutely nothing happened until the end. I really missed the secondary leads and their storyline (we got a glimpse towards the end), and even the crazy villain. The King is just laughing like he’s high all the time (he probably is) which is super annoying. I miss the fantastic King in Haunted Palace who at least did something and wasn’t worthless .
I’ve also lost count on how many times the FL is in danger and needs to be saved. Pick another storyline.
How do you know it was Eun Ae who pushed? Is it shoes? Bc the Psycho Do Hwa had the scar too
It showed she got hurt in the wrist when she was throwing a tantrum and some glass cut her wrist, so I’m guessing that’s a misdirection. And she looked confused when she was being accused of pushing her in the water.
Such a wonderful, fluffy drama. Love the leads and their chemistry, and I was so excited that the second leads ship was taking odd but the stupid father ruined everything. I’m pretty sure that Eun Ae pushed Seon Chaek in the water, but it seems to be to please her father so I hope they don’t make her a villain. Her and Su Gyeon are perfect for each other, and seems to be the rich guy/orphan girl storyline that is usually meant for the lead characters.
The leads and their honesty and skinship is so refreshing to see. They are both ride or die with the other, and I’d rather have this than one lame duck kiss thrown in there at the end. All the pearl clutching on here is making me laugh because it’s not even close to being PG13 scenes.
That ending put the biggest, goofiest grin on my face. These two are so stinking adorable that I can’t handle it.
Gyeon u’s family are absolutely awful. Who doesn’t have a picture of their mother to put next to her urn, and has the nerve to be hysterical at the funeral hall? His parents are also the worst ever for pretty much making him leave the funeral since they were gracing everyone with their presence. I wonder what happened to make them shun their own kid- I bet they blame the death of another child on the poor guy. Nothing else makes sense. He doesn’t deserve to be treated like that!
At least it seems like he has allies, with the dynamic duo (please no lame triangle) and archery coach. And it seems like the students have come around too and hopefully stop gossiping about him.
Jong Hyeon’s family is absolute crap for not showing up when he was in surgery and the rehab after. I thought his brother would help them after he got shot, but he still seems to be the same corrupt prosecutor. They don’t have anyone on their side and I’m tired of the bad guys winning all the time!
Can’t believe Dong ju is fighting all alone when he can potentially get a brain hemorrhage. The doctor is right with saying how reckless he is because that is just craziness on another level. Park Bo Gum did look pretty hot in his vigilante gear, but hopefully next week the crew is back together. I missed their antics today.
What a beautiful masterpiece. Yes, I’m an emotional wreck, but in the best way possible. Even the last episode didn’t feel rushed and was perfect.
Ho Su really is one of the best boyfriends ever. He apologized twice for his noble idiocy, and the second time was so sincere with noting how he was selfish and hurt her. Mi ji was also great, quietly supporting him down to learning sign language. The writers didn’t even have to show her taking classes, but the scene of them signing in the room was subtle enough to show how they are both so perfect for each other. Definitely one of my favorite couples.
I did want more of Mi Rae and Se Jin, but was content with their final scene because she was extremely happy to see him. Would love to see a few episode spinoff of them managing the farm together.
Even the mothers are bonding, and rooting for their kids to get married (and pushing them into living together). I was afraid of the usual manufactured drama trope of the mom thinking that the girlfriend isn’t good enough for their son (and vice versa) but both were immediately on board and that made me more at ease.
Can’t wait to watch certain scenes again, but I may be permanently dehydrated if I rewatch all of it. Definitely emotionally drained, but it was worth it.
This episode was extremely rough. I couldn’t stop crying and now my eyes are swollen. I thought I’d be okay and then the tears kept coming. I think Ho Su and his mom broke me.
What a fantastic show and will miss it so much after it ends tomorrow. The writing and acting has been perfect, and it’s rare for a show to have zero faults (so far). Hopefully it ends well for everyone tomorrow.
They didn't show anything about his brother after the third case. I wonder if they are leaving it for another…
You’re right! I completely forgot about his brother. They also rarely show his wife the past few episodes so that storyline seems to be forgotten for now.
Love that Sun Chaek is finally as much into the Prince as he is with her. It makes it more fun! I hope she finally remembers that first night because it was so freaking hot. I’m so spoiled with this show and all the honesty, skinship and kissing between the leads. More, please! It’s also refreshing that Sun Chaek uses the skills she learned in the selection process.
Mopey, drunk Su Gyeon is so adorable. Eun Ae is giving me sus vibes but I hope it’s a misdirect and she doesn’t break his heart at the expense of impressing her father.
Loving this reverse dynamic where the FL is protecting the ML. She’s such an adorable character. I can see why ML is so cold, and hope he continues to thaw as the episodes move along even though it will be a slow process because bad things keep happening to him. That ending of episode two hit me really hard and I’m still upset.
I hate gossiping teens with a passion and wish I could have smacked all of them. The coach is so awesome and hope that he doesn’t give up on Gyeon Yu. He needs as many supporters as he can get.
So nice to see Cho Yi Hyun again because she was so good in Matchmakers. And Choo Young Woo continues to get hotter with every show he’s in. And he keeps picking awesome scripts!

Is Kim Kyung nam only in the first episode because that would be a bummer. I liked his chemistry with the other lawyers.
