Loving the honesty and lack of misunderstandings on this show. It is so refreshing that adults are acting like adults instead of teenagers. The confession was straightforward and pretty damn perfect, and then the last scene was even better. I can’t wait for these losers in love doing an awful job of hiding how smitten they are with each other.
Besides the adorable secondary leads commiserating together with alcohol, they have somehow snuck a possible third couple in there? Love it! I don’t know how these writers can pack so much fun and chemistry with different characters in such short scenes.
I am all for the angst and longing, but my heart keeps breaking for poor Yeon Su. Him honestly telling Gang Hui that he’s trying to get over her but it’s going to take a while was so refreshing. I understand why GH is trying to move on as well but her actions aren’t matching what she’s saying, and the poor guy just looks confused. I am a sucker for angst, however, so I’m lapping this all up.
The secondary ship is so cute! One adorable scene and I’m already on board. I hope they can communicate better than the leads.
Dreading the inevitable parent is sick/dying storyline. There’s already so much trauma the FL has gone through, please don’t keep piling it up. I love how the flashbacks are slowly being revealed to us why GH never wanted to come back home. Why are adults so awful?
I don’t like school bullying storylines, but this is glorious. I would love to watch 10 episodes of Ga Min kicking crap out of all the bullies. Those fight scenes were so good. Why one episode a week on Viki, though?
Way too much of this drama was focused on that awful stalker. Good riddance.
Poor Mr Park- I don’t think I’ve ever had SML syndrome this bad. He deserves better, but hopefully he can move on now. I still see no chemistry between Daniel and Du ri. Wonder how this will all end tomorrow.
Poor Jin Woo. After all this, nobody has taken him to a therapist and psychiatrist. K pop industry is such an awful industry- this storyline seems realistic, but it’s still difficult to watch.
Loved Jin Woo yelling at his mom for selling out his friend for her selfishness. So glad that him and his father are looking out for YJW. And why are those stupid bullies still around? He should sue them for defamation.
Can we get some wins next week? I’ll take at least one!
K dramas are my escapism. I expect k trauma and getting my soul crushed, but this is bordering on way too much being piled on to the poor ML. He just wants someone on his side, and to be a part of a real family. My heart breaks for him since the adults around him failed, but it seems like his brother is coming to his rescue.
This is why I’m not fond of 16 episode dramas- if it was 12 most of the secrets would have been discovered by now and not everything would be dragged out. It seems like everyone but the dumb Prince knows by now, and Deok Su continues to be reckless. She has gotten in trouble so many times, not realizing she has powerful friends helping her, and is brazen and arrogant with her revenge plan. I want to root for her, but she’s going at this the wrong way.
JY keeps saying they stole her money and blaming them as if they were the ones that broke into her house. They…
I don’t know why she’s still whining when she got all her money in full. Just take the money and go away, and take your selfish histrionic ass with you.
I don’t hate the FL as much as others do, but I don’t understand her angst when it seems like she had a wonderful group of friends around her and a father who adored her. Screw the rest of the town.
When Gang hui’s father told her that it must have been hard for her to come back (nice try with the “disguise”), I started to cry. I am wondering why their relationship is so fractured when all we’ve seen so far are loving scenes between them when she was a child. It seems like he’s taking the brunt for the hate she had for the town.
The leads had such a sweet first love vibe that I’m still rooting for them despite her annoying wishy washiness. I guess that adds to the angst, but I wish that Yeon Su would stop pining for her and try to move on.

The first case was so sad, but this second one is brutal. And then that crazy cliffhanger and we have to wait until next week.
