Green flag couples for the win! Probably my favorite drama solely based on how well the leads communicate and are there for each other. It’s so refreshing to see amongst all the other shows that have bickering or toxic leads. Even the secondary couples are so much fun to watch.
Thank you writers for showing k drama viewers that you can make an enjoyable and heartwarming show without the makjang and toxicity, and that viewers will fall in love with a couple because of their chemistry and honesty.
This drama is failing at making the FL and her family likeable, especially her mom and her grandparents. They…
So disappointing because the actress that plays Cha rim played such a sweet character in her previous show (Bad MemoryEraser) that I was hoping to enjoy her in this one.
Gangju’s mom has surprisingly been one of my favorite characters this week. She seems to be the only one on GJ’s side and so glad she stuck up for him. I hope she continues to be an ally.
How are we not getting any romance between the leads or secondary couple? Even the newly married couple barely get any cute scenes. Throw me a freaking bone!
Do students really whine and cry if they don’t get their own way? Whenever I see YuMi I just want to ff her scenes since she’s just trying to cry her way into what she wants. I’m sorry her mom is insufferable but it’s not your friend or teacher’s problem.
Still liking this show but the FL continues to be juvenile and annoying. So is the ML but he looks damn good in his suits so I’m biased.
We finally got a backstory into how the FL became a PE teacher instead of having some fancy job. How awful.
The audacity with which they are cursing gang ju for the 3 million burnt, that is damn stollen money.I say they…
So indirectly they blame him for not returning the money. They are the worst. They can return the 6.8 billion! I’m sure GJ’s mom will be happy to see any money at this point.
It’s rare for a 16 episode show to make me want more, but here I am. I would watch another 16 episodes of their blended family shenanigans, and the couples being so freaking cute together. I wanted more HaeDal!
I am going to miss this show and the wonderful characters. It was a treat watching all of them bond and become a family together. Yes, San ha’s mom was the worst and gave me chest pain, but together it made a perfect show. Thank you, writers!
I was so sure they wouldn’t comfort each other, I was so happy that they did. And they did it in such a character…
Agree. I was worried she’d push him away but so happy they didn’t go that route. The writers have surprised me by not using the usual tropes, and we’ve gotten amazing communication and trust.
I don’t think I’ve ever gone from smiling and giggling to bawling my eyes out so fast. I was laughing at how jealous Yong Ju was, and then we got the adorable dating scene. Then it was a sudden gut punch at that ending. It was expected, but can’t a girl enjoy her date for a few days?
I lost it during the voice recording. What a perfect way to say goodbye, filled with so much happiness and love. We got to see how Yong Ju wasn’t going to be left alone with everyone showing up to support her. The ending was perfect, with the green flag couple continuing to be each other’s comfort zone. I don’t think I could love them even more.
Another wonderful episode. Hope the last four continue to be as stellar as these last two have been.
Kim Jung Hyun is absolutely nailing his role as Gang Ju. I felt his sadness and dejection at the end. Poor guy just wanted approval from his stepfather who continues to be an asshat. I hope his mom follows through and sticks up for him. Poor guy needs a win.
Chae rim is absolutely awful, gleefully celebrating GJ getting fired. I thought she’d realize that he’s needed for her success, so hope she fails now that he’s gone.
Liking the Aunt subplot. Nice to see someone on this show some character growth.
What a great episode. I went from smiling to bursting into tears repeatedly. Such a green flag couple filled with honesty, respect and communication.
Could see why Yong Ju was hesitating when she was around Min Ju, and how he felt guilty as well. But those last 10 minutes made up for it. Can’t wait to watch this episode again! Even the second leads had good scenes.

Still loving the past scenes with their teenage selves. So much chemistry!

Loving Ju Ji hoon in those suits, though!
