man, as someone who have watched a lot of cdramas and read a lot of chinese webnovels, i mean a lot, there's definitely similarities so I'm just gonna end it there. Happy watching!

Duolou continent is a good reference, but I watched the first ep and there's definitely a lot of similarities from some of the cdramas I've wathced, which is good btw. Also there are a lot of mages in cdramas :D Anyway, I love the FL character and the drama looks promising. Will continue watching it :D

More like xuanhuan than wuxia i think. Its good that kdrama are exploring this type of genre

I like it so far although the fl is annoying and the fighting scenes are disappointing. I watched zeng shuxi in heavenly sword and dragon sabre and the fighting scenes there are really good.

I think zeng shunxi has the best chemistry with chen yuqi

I love this drama! Everything i want to say was well written by Kangni xiao’s comments. Go read it :) i know this is not everyone’s cup of tea esp since this is xu kai’s next drama after an idol drama but if you are into good period drama, this is a must see :)
