In reality, if you’re not using condoms, you should be taking PrEP to help prevent HIV. For anal sex, PrEP generally needs to be taken for about 7 days before it reaches maximum protective levels if you’re using the daily regimen.
Also, that split position wouldn’t realistically work without a lot of lube. Otherwise, it would be very painful.

Also, do you realise that sex is a normal part of life? There is nothing shameful about it. That’s how you were born, because your parents had sex. We watch these characters grow, fall in love, build a connection and share intimacy. That is a normal part of adult relationships and there is nothing wrong with portraying it in a series.
Just because something is shown on screen doesn’t make it wrong. It’s a story about adults, their emotions, their love and their relationship. Stop acting like intimacy is something dirty or shameful.
