Though it had a sad ending, the storyline was different. I've watched many historical dramas, both fictional and fact-based, but they all share the same theme: an emperor can't make decisions emotionally. Consequently, some characters sacrifice their love, some endure dismal love lives, and some love stories reach completion only after facing many hardships and conspiracies.

What stood out to me in this drama was, first, the crown prince and crown princess lived happily and spent ample time together. His first wife never interfered in his love life. Second, the crown prince's younger brother loved and respected him, standing by his side faithfully. He was a benevolent person. Third, the crown princess's family members lived harmoniously, with no jealousy, hatred, or competition. In fact, they respected each other deeply.

What I did not like was the ending. The drama had 53 episodes, so at times, I felt listless, but I watched it with patience. To fully appreciate the story, you would need to watch it yourself.

Mediocre but it has it ways to impresses the audience

In the intricate web of love and family, status holds significance, but a genuine heart can work wonders. This tale revolves around a brother and sister, their tumultuous relationship, and the transformative power of love.Born from different mothers, they shared a home but not a bond.

The brother harbored resentment, blaming his step-sister and her mother for his own mother's suffering. Fueled by bitterness, he stripped her of everything she held dear, driven by vengeance and misplaced anger. Yet, her love for him remained steadfast, a beacon of hope in the darkness of his animosity.

Despite his cruelty, she never wavered in her affection for him. With the support of her devoted partner, she embarked on a journey to reclaim what was rightfully hers, including the fractured bond with her brother. Their love not only restored her possessions but also softened the hardened heart of her estranged sibling.

In a parallel narrative, the brother's own love interest becomes his guiding light. However, his path strays into darkness, influenced by his misguided actions. It is the unwavering devotion of his sister and the revelation of truth that lead him back to the right track, mending broken relationships and restoring harmony within the family. The story delicately weaves through four intertwining love stories, each contributing to the overarching theme of redemption and forgiveness. While the plot may seem commonplace, it is the emotional depth and poignant moments that captivate the audience, ensuring they remain invested till the very end.

Despite its flaws, the story manages to evoke empathy and introspection, proving that even the most ordinary narratives can hold extraordinary beauty when infused with genuine emotion and sincerity.

Familiar story

What I appreciated most was the acting of the male lead. His performance was too good, amazing, fantastic, and fabulous. I always think he deserves a big project.

The story was also compelling. It follows a girl who, in order to uncover the truth about her childhood buddy's death (a person who was going to be her husband and whom she respected as an older brother), marries a general because he is connected to her senior brother's death. Along this journey, many people die, but all were not good people; they had committed various wrongdoings, with some being heinous. Gradually, the truth is revealed, leading to a happy ending.
I wish the drama had ended by showing their marriage again, as well as their children.

Rather it should be fight for family

When the story started, the characters of the female and male leads were quite engaging. I particularly liked the male lead's character. Initially, I thought he was a type of playboy, but he exhibited a certain innocence. He followed whatever the elders told him to do and never used his own judgment. I believed that as the story progressed, some tragedy would occur, transforming him into a rude, strong, stubborn, ruthless, and sensible person. However, nothing of the sort happened. Though he showed anger, it had no significant impact. He never got into a single fight, yet he became a king. Seriously, what direction did the story take?

Moreover, I enjoyed the chemistry between the leads, but they did not end up together in the end. The power of love and obsession was not evident. Although he married someone due to unavoidable circumstances, he did not return to his true love. On the wedding night, he went to the bride's chamber and apologized for being late. He then drowned his sorrows in drinks, and in his drunken state, his wife took advantage of him. I never expected the story to take such a turn. Usually, in similar stories, when a king marries out of helplessness, he remains genuine to his true love while fulfilling his responsibilities as a husband. He would typically reveal the truth about his love story to his wife.

Overall, this story was not worth watching.

Difficult to understand

What If" is a complicated drama that delves into the profound impact of choices on one's life. The female lead faces a pivotal decision: remain in her hometown or move to Shanghai to fulfill her dreams. The drama explores the consequences of each choice in a non-linear, multi-timeline narrative.

Synopsis Understanding:Initially, the protagonist decides against going to Shanghai and starts a family. Four years into her marriage, she has a beautiful son and is a homemaker while her husband is the sole breadwinner. One day, she follows her husband and sees him with another woman. This incident makes her wonder what would have happened if she had chosen to pursue her dreams in Shanghai.

Shanghai Scenario:The narrative then shifts to an alternate reality where she moves to Shanghai, starts her career, and maintains a relationship with her boyfriend. However, a tragedy in her boyfriend's family leads to misunderstandings and their eventual breakup. Her boss becomes a significant figure in her life during this time, providing support but also creating complications.

Parallel Timelines:From the 12th episode, the drama splits into two parallel timelines: one where she marries her boyfriend and leaves her job, and another where she continues her relationship with her boss. By the 17th episode, a third scenario is introduced, adding more complexity.

Key Events and Confusion:In the 9th episode, she returns to Shanghai after a breakup and her boss intimate with her . Later, in the 11th episode, she initiates a kiss with him, creating confusion because here her boss said to her you started first means this their first kiss so what was that in the 9th episode . This ambiguity suggests multiple timelines rather than a single linear story.

Themes and Reflection:"What If" highlights the importance of decision-making and its long-lasting impacts. It emphasizes that regrets are inevitable but one must focus on the present. The drama also underscores the necessity of compromise and understanding in relationships. In the married life timeline, the couple's mutual understanding and compromise lead to a happy ending.

Conclusion:In conclusion, "What If" is a thought-provoking drama that illustrates the complexities of life choices and relationships. It shows that while regrets are inevitable, embracing the present and maintaining strong relationships through compromise and understanding can lead to fulfillment.

Final Thoughts:We never get a second chance, so we need to think deeply before making decisions. Regrets will always be there, but we need to forget them and enjoy the present. Compromise and understanding are crucial in any relationship. The protagonist's married life succeeds because she and her husband understand and support each other.

Unclear ending ...

"The story started with deception, but due to the good nature and kind heart of the characters, the revelation of the truth did not have a significant impact. However, jealousy and obsession ultimately destroyed the lives of three characters. After a one-year gap, what happened to them remains unclear. The acting of the artists, including the supporting characters, was good. However, I was not happy with the ending."

Why such ending

The story, being fictional, could have had a much better ending. In it, five gods seal a monster, scattering their spirits into the human realm. After many years, demons begin attacking a kingdom where Bai's family lives. When the family's king dies, a relative seizes the throne and becomes a tyrant. At this time, the gods' spirits awaken, kill the monster, and the story ends.Flaws:The story hints at parallel love stories, but none of them develop, leaving viewers waiting for them to start. The devastation of the Bai family is depicted in a way that feels unacceptable. After killing the monster, all the gods disappear. Given that it is a fictional story, a better ending could have been crafted.I had high expectations for the drama, but it ended in disappointment.

Both the seasons' review

The first episode wasn't very clear to me, but from the second episode onward, the story started to make sense. It is a love story that explores themes of jealousy, hatred, agony, separation, and happy moments. The chemistry between the main leads was good, but my favorite couple was Luo Luo and Kong Ming. For me, they stole the limelight from the main leads. I enjoyed their scenes more, even though they had fewer moments on screen.

One scene I particularly liked was when he bit her ear to give her the merman's mark, ensuring he could always reach her whenever she was in trouble.

While the story had some dull scenes, overall, I liked it.

Higher expectations for the conclusion of the story.

Doona" tells the story of a girl who was a K-pop idol but left the band due to health issues and started living in solitude. One day, a boy moved in next door to her in a building where the neighbors share a common yard. Living a solitary life, she often found herself in pain, and the boy would always help her. Gradually, she began to feel a sense of closeness toward him, and their love story began.I was eagerly anticipating a scene where he would stop her from smoking. The drama beautifully portrayed the internal struggle she felt about her feelings, which made her hesitant to open up to him. In one scene, she left him to be with another boy right in front of him, ignoring his calls and not returning for many days. His anger and frustration were understandable. Although they eventually reunited, the ending was ambiguous, leaving us to speculate that they were together and continuing with their lives. However, I had higher expectations for the conclusion of the story.

Nothing to watch, then it is an option

The story starts on a promising note, detailing three reincarnations leading up to the ascension to the position of Sky Emperor. However, only two of these reincarnation stories are explored, had not shown the third one. Reason not cleared . The plot is light and lacks depth, which may result in it not resonating well with many viewers.

Few episodes were good and few were bored

Men in Love," as the name suggests, is a story about four men in their thirties who have gone through a lot since high school, but their bond has only grown stronger over the years. One man is married but faces problems in his married life. Another man's wife has passed away, and he has never moved on from it. The third man had a breakup, and the fourth is still single. This is where the story begins.

The married man struggles to save his marriage from divorce. In the life of the widower, a new girl enters who has loved him for many years. She is his best friend's sister and is ten years younger than him, so he always keeps a distance from her . The man who experienced a breakup falls in love again, but misunderstandings arise when his ex returns to his life. The fourth man's love story faces many ups and downs due to his mother's refusal to accept their relationship.
The drama showcases how each man's love story survives.
I didn't like the attitude of the first man's wife; she always doubts him. However, he is somewhat responsible for her behavior because he never builds trust with her and gets easily flattered by beautiful women.
The girl who loves the widower also annoyed me. Despite his clear rejection, she continues to pursue him. She often became a spoilsport and misbehaved with any girl who came near him.
Among all four love stories, I liked the first two the most. The first man's wife's whenever doubt on him and his reactions made me laugh, and the second man's love story is cute.

A total wastage of time

Seriously, this is the ending? Oh my god! Why did I give my time to such a stupid story? I liked the beginning: on his wedding day, he joined the funeral procession of his girlfriend, and at the same time, his dead girlfriend's soul entered his present bride. After this, the way the story proceeded kept getting more boring, and the end didn't feel like an ending at all.

Not happy with the ending

The story begins with an immortal man whose responsibility is to stay near the forgotten river and monitor the activities of demons, punishing them if they cause any disturbances. However, living there alone made him bored, so he created a humanoid shadow to keep him company. Despite this, he was still unhappy because the shadow could only listen to him; it couldn't move, talk, or have proper facial features like eyes or a nose. One day, a devil offered him a deal: in exchange for something, the devil would tell him how to transform his shadow into a beautiful girl who could keep him company. The immortal agreed and followed the devil's instructions, but this led to chaos. The devil unleashed numerous demons as part of the deal, and as punishment for his greed, God separated the immortal and the girl.Amid their story, there are two other subplots involving troubled characters whose problems solved by the immortal. These subplots add depth to the narrative. The story has many beautiful scenes between the main leads, showcasing their amazing chemistry. However, the beginning is a bit dull, and I am not satisfied with the ending.

Little bit dull

I've watched numerous dramas about high school students, so I wasn't initially very interested in this one. The reason I decided to watch it was because of a scene I saw on YouTube that I really liked. However, that scene appeared only at the end.

The drama follows the characters from their teenage years through adulthood, from grade 9 to marriage and having children. It beautifully portrays how the course of life changes and how relationships grow stronger over time. I found the last episodes to be the most compelling.

Another scene I particularly liked was when the younger brother shared his feelings with his older brother's girlfriend. He expressed his worry about his brother and questioned why was he so affected by others' opinions, which had created a barrier between them. He reminisced about the times when his brother cared deeply for him.

Not happy with ending .

The story starts off engagingly, incorporating a pig concept to add some humor to the scenes. To prove his parents' innocence, a boy endures numerous challenges. Though he possesses powerful spiritual abilities, he initially doesn't know how to harness them. When conflicts escalate, leading to numerous casualties, his latent power briefly emerges to restore order. However, since he doesn't know how to control his abilities, he often relies on Murong Zi Ying to save him. In the final episodes, as chaos reigns, he musters all his power to strike decisively.

The ending for the female lead's character seems unjustified and doesn't make much sense to me. I expected the main characters to wield the sword together to resolve the conflict that began 19 years ago.

I hoped to see their marriage and a beautiful family, with Murong Zi Ying ending up with Meng Li.

As someone who enjoys romantic subplots might don't like the drama .The limited romance in this story left me feeling less engaged.

The one who play the role of Yun Tian He, hats off amazing acting .Truly remarkable performance.
Looking forward more drama of his.
I like one dialogue of his, " My Life is upto me, not you".
I like the way the female lead actor hit him with love whenever he said something stupid and when he show his innocency.
