That's exactly what I mean.. Pandora could've been made as the 4th season of The Penthouse.. introducing new characters and arcs.. it could've been continued very easily.. it was a makjang and there wasn't the need to end it in the way it did.. Even Escape of the Seve.. they could've easily introduced Lee Joon's characters.. even Han Mone and continued the story by relating them to the Penthouse cast in some way.. I love the penthouse kids and the 4 main families so much I would've watched anything any story they would've introduced.. Young Dae and Lee Joon's characters could've been such great friends idk anything with them and I would be seated just like before..

I couldn't watch Pandora after Ep 1 but i can assure you if that story was in The Penthouse Universe, I Would Have watched all of it hehee 😅
I loved Escape of the Seven and if you haven't yet watched it, then please do.. as a Penthouse fan you will love it eventually (just not more than Penthouse)

Seven Escape is really good trust me.. Your Penthouse heart would love it.. I still need more seasons of 7Escape Loved Lee Joon so much..
Why can't we just get more seasons of The Penthouse and 7Escape or just bring Lee Joon and Han Mone on the Penthouse.. I even need JunJiHyun on The Penthouse.. Idk I just feel like she would fit so well as the 5th main family on The Penthouse.. Anyway.. Still waiting for another makjang like these two.. Meanwhile watching Bon Appetit

Also, there's an American series titled Days of Our Lives.. it has 15000 episodes.. ongoing series.. since 1965
so that's what I want for The Penthouse or rather wantED since it can't happen now.. but if there was any korean series that had such potential, it would be The Penthouse easily..

I wish they had continued it because I love that cast so much.. all of them.. watched villains in athe attic at it was sooo much fun with the Penthouse cast..
you know there's so many american shows which run for 10+ years..
I wish they made a season of Penthouse every year showing how the kids grew up and their kids and so on.. this was once in a lifetime drama and I wish they continued it.. instead they made Pandora and Seven Escape.. Pandora wasn't good.. But Seven Escape I really loved just not as much as I loved Penthouse.. Penthouse is No. 1
ughhh I miss Penthouse so much more now.. and I miss Seven Escape too 😅 I just love these kind of dramas.. I hope that team returns soon.. Uhm Ki Joon is the greatest villain actor everrrr JOO DAN TAEEEEEEEEE

I was anticipating her return too in fact I always anticipate her return.. The other day we were talking about what kind of roles suit her because Tempest wasn't it nor was Jirisan.. She is such a good actress and so gorgeous I wish she did more dramas like MLFTS and LOTBS.. Nobody else could've done those roles better than her.. she was made for those roles..

I really miss My Love From The Star now I want to rewatch it heheee I even rewatch The Heirs so many times just for nostalgia 😅 No matter what everyone says, I really love that drama 💖

Would you believe that I have the latest big screen tv BUT I still watch dramas on my Tab.. Because I just don't want that 4K and dolby distracting me.. And when I first started watching dramas, I used to watch on my tab only and even on phone sometimes.. Because I prefer the vibes.. and all of that clarity on my tv screen is just too distracting to me.. I'm soooo glad there's someone who feels the same wayyy omggggggg

And My Love From The Star holds such a special place in my heart I tell you.. it's something I can't even explain in words.. that very first scene where he stops time with that click and saves her ohmy ohmy .. this is the Magic that's missing.. and I don't mean the literal magic.. The feels the way he walked towards her it was just so magical.. it is such a beautiful drama.. I'm so lucky it is from that time.. Because I'm sure I wouldn't have loved it as much if it were in netflix quality 😅😅

And I tell you what.. my brother is now watching Tempest in 4K
Can someone tell me why would anybody need to watch Tempest in 4K???
I mean I would understand if it were Legend of the Blue Sea because it was just so picturesque.. I would totally want to watch all those beautiful locations and the ocean in 4K but why Tempest?
It just makes no sense to me.. I would rather watch older kdramas oh my tab..

I rewatched City Hunter recently and asked my brother to watch it.. he refused saying it's old and wouldn't have good picture quality and I still made him watch because I knew he was going to love it.. and guess what He loved it.. that's the charm of older dramas.. Tbh I even prefer the picture quality of older dramas.. I mean why would I need 4K or 8K for it.. why do I need to see the split ends 😅😂 it's distracting to me

After covid, they got caught up in all the international attention and started making dramas which would appeal to the global audience.. I see so much of International influence in dramas now.. I wish they realized why we came to kdramaland and why we love it so much.. The magic..

I've watched so many countries' dramas but could never find that magic which I finally found in Kdramas.. I would always love that era and I wish the writers and the makers realize that too.. especially after Lovely Runner's success 💖 🍀

I do watch current modern dramas.. and they're alright.. but the feels of the older dramas that magic is missing.. don't know why they don't make dramas like that anymore.. I still remember Lee JongSuk entering with that music to save Suzy that scene is etched into my heart.. can't say the same for the recent dramas..Everytime I watch a couple of recent dramas, I have to go back and rewatch an older drama to get the energy to watch more recent dramas 😅

In my mind I will prepare an alternate ending where her brother knows she's alive..
where Aodeng becomes the King and marries Shuang and they both maintain peace in their country.. and his identity is still hidden as the Man in Black 💖💖💖💖

He didn't want to Kill the person who killed his King
His Brother's killer is who Aodeng wanted to kill

That's human emotion.. Not some cultural difference.. Not some duty..

So please stop making it about culture

It has always been personal for AODENG
He did it for his brother he should've stayed for his brother
He wanted Shuang He should've made her his Queen
that's how I viewed his character.. Jinan but a little more powerful and assertive
but in the end Aodeng was just nonexistent
