When did they get together?Any breakup? How long?Any love triangle? Annoying?Happy ending?
I'm still watching. I'm still on episode 12. As for breakup, yes. they broke up before but male lead still loves female lead and is pursuing her again. Yes, for the love triangle, there's a man named Wen Peng, who also likes the female lead. Yes much annoying guy and from my observation, I think he is a bad character. Based on some comments down below. It is a Happy ending. This is all I can say. You have to watch on your own if you want to find out the story. Very intrguing.
Flourished Peony recently shared a statement of apology after claims of plagiarism. Flourished Peony stars Yang Zi and Li Xian. The costume drama premiered on Jan 7. It has gotten widespread praise and has topped viewing charts since. On January 12, the author of Chinese Makeup: Daughters of the Tang Dynasty 中国妆束·大唐女儿行, one Zuo Qiumeng, shared a post to ask FP for a response. Zuo shared photo comparisons and said: "The content of my book is available for non-commercial reference to everyone. However, it is important to clarify that these are secondary designs based on artifacts and historical records, not the artifacts themselves. For commercial use, authorization must be sought from me.. (FP's) production team should have informed me in advance and requested authorization; otherwise, this is inappropriate." Here are some cover photos from the the book Zuo wrote in collaboration with illustrator, Mo Chun. FP and Zuo did reach out to each other and seemingly came to an agreeable conclusion.
Yesterday, FP shared a post to say they indeed referenced Zuo's book for some designs. "During the referencing process, certain academic illustrations were mistakenly treated as artifact restoration diagrams, leading to misunderstandings. We sincerely apologize for any confusion caused." They also praised Zuo's book and expressed gratitude for it.
So in short, FP did research for the drama, and they referred to Mr Zuo's book, thinking that the images were historical records. That would've been fine except, the images were not historical records, they were the authors' designs based on historical records, which then made it possibly plagiarism. But the two parties spoke to each other, and it seems permission and credit was given, maybe even some compensation that wasn't revealed. In any case, they resolved the issue.
On December 22, actress #ZhuRui revealed a screenshot of their conversation. In the message, #ZhaoLusi reached out to her, asking for help and asking when she would be coming to Hangzhou, and telling her friend, "Help me."
