So you have no right to say that "only those people who didn't see Hidden Love will think it as stand alone". The fact that they are changing Sang Zhi's clothes here says it all that they might be giving the novel adaptation a little twist. If drama adaptation will always be the same in the novel then what's the purpose of adapting it live? It's just like your basically reading the novel (it's just that it's a live adaptation).
