Cang Xuan grabbing the knife and pointing it to his neck and desperately screaming that he loves her and want to stay forever by her side... 6. Tushan Jing leaves the clan in the hands of his nephew that he graciously raised as his own. Tushan Hou and Fangfeng Yi Ying got their comeuppance.
I really like him as well...he's a cutiepie. A Nian/Ru Shou's banters are gold. Shame he doesn't have much screentime…
And he acts just the same with the Emperor...a little bit more restraint due to differences in status but still...haha We definitely need more Ru Shou in season 2...
I think my favourite character is Ru Shou…. He is really hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 albeit his minimal screen time.

First, we should all feel sorry for the guy since his whole family is deadset on making his life a living hell. XY likes his kindness and forgiving nature. Second, if Mr.Nice Guy (Jing) looks like Deng Wei, there's no way I would friendzone him. I would help him get rid of the two-faced witch and have him for myself 😆

Stupid thing to do though is comparing a rookie actor that only debuted 2 years ago (with no acting background whatsoever) to a veteran actress who has countless works under her belt since she debuted as a child actress and is a graduate of Beijing Film Academy. Zhang Wan Yi is also a BFA graduate. As for Tan Jian Ci, he's been in the industry for so long that it's a given he would slayed his role. Confidence makes everything easier.
IMHO, Deng Wei is doing good with the material he was given. His character might not be as enticing as Xiang Liu or intense/passionate like Cang Xuan but he managed to portray Tushan Jing/YSQ with a certain vulnerability and enough subtlety for me to root for his character. Unlike the novel version, he managed to make the character likeable and swoon-worthy. He's very good in emotional scenes imo.
Why are they always picking on him 😩 it’s like if he breathes wrong he’ll get a scolded 🤦🏻♀️

As for H!6, Tan Jian Ci and Dylan Wang are regular members...of course they would be more comfortable. Plus, Dylan Wang is an extrovert while DW is more of an introvert person, therefore you can't expect him to be as chill and laid-back as WHD.
Lastly, me being a multi stan, I hate all those comparisons...they all have their strengths and shortcomings. And I got attracted to them for different reasons. Let's keep supporting him and just ignore the naysayers.
