Tae Hyun was certainly okay at the end with a bow, a bow and arrow :P lol sorry bad joke. He wouldn't have been okay if Da Yeol's hand slipped! This is why I hardly if ever watch trailers and instead just watch the show as it airs cuz yeah sometimes trailers can be deceptive or worse SPOIL something I'd rather see in the show as it happens. I like this series so far because it ISN'T super fluffy which gets over-done and I'm kinda sick of rom-coms.
I... like it so far. Not used to seeing Korean BL that isn't super fluffy so I was surprised. Don't get me wrong, I love fluff here and there but sometimes I like a darker/dramatic BL. Some people don't like the bully/bullied pairing trope (I personally hate the jock/nerd pairing trope haha) so it may not be everyone's taste but I like it so far. I hated the few bullies I had back in high school but there was one of them I was totally crushing on at that time (he later turned out to be a kewl guy), so I get the appeal. Tae Hyun is an interesting character, I think the teasing is kinda charming (I'm weird lol) but not helping Da Yeol out in the infirmary to explain that he wasn't trying to SA him was really low. But sometimes we're SUPPOSED to dislike a character at first, then development and redemption arcs if done right get us to come around. I love a good redemption arc!

I have noticed this, GMMTV has some GREAT actors but they under-utilize some, overuse others, keep the same guys together forever where I get sick of seeing it haha! And they wonder why fans think some of these guys are dating IRL and get made when they find out, its just fanservice lol smh. I do like happy endings, but I like drama and struggle throughout the series. I think the acting is best and the stakes the highest when its a serious drama done right. Serious dramas tend to have more engaging plots too. Overly bubbly BL that gives me sugar-rush is not for me personally. Others like it and that's kewl, I just wish GMMTV did more serious BL drama too, they are really rare but I tend to like those the most.

If people are allowed to say why they LIKE the series, people should be allowed to say why they DON'T. I love fluff, I love drama, I love intimacy, all in one show. A good balance! I think the main actors are amazing and it sucks they are so young. I personally don't like BL with minors because I know its just gonna be all fluff and no intimacy. Intimacy/Sexuality is a personal expression of love to me and is what I associate with romance. It's a completely normal thing in non-asexual relationships. GMMTV does way better with drama, I think their rom-coms are usually boring. Well true people can be nicer about it. Yeah like Pond, great looking guy, terrible actor imo so I get your point. I don't care what an actor looks like in a medieval fantasy or action adventure or horror for example, but to me romance kinda necessitates aesthetic. And yeah, totally subjective. I personally think Run (Park) is good looking which the OC I think does not so I'm not saying my standards are THE standard. I think I was mainly just saying, its okay to not be into a couple because you don't find one or both of the people involved attractive enough to care. Doesn't mean one should be mean to the actors though, I agree there. People may think that's shallow or superficial, cuz it is, but why is that a bad thing when it comes to watching a romance? If they are shallow with people in REAL life, then I think that's a bit too much, but this is entertainment and people can be picky. I watch them for a mixture of reasons. But its ROMANCE, I'm not gonna watch love stories with people I find unattractive personally. I don't have an issue with the characters in this from what I've seen, but people are perfectly okay to have an opinion about looks.
Superficial things are the best, beauty with beauty, plain with plain. Haven't watched this yet but the looks of the characters look fine to me. But yeah I'll avoid watching a romance if I don't find one of the mains attractive. That doesn't mean they ARENT attractive, but I got a type.
