I was wondering how I even found out about this drama lol. Then I remembered the director, Chiang Ping Chen,…
ITA about "See Your Love"... not sure how or why this got produced. As one comment stated, they thought it was a vehicle to promote the boy band since China is attempting to globally market boy bands. I think this might be valid since everyone in the band struggled with acting but legit played instruments. Maybe the director got roped in because of his name recognition? Definitely not of the same caliber as SYL. If they wanted to promote the band to BL audiences, which is understandable since we are a formidable group, there could have been better ways. I wish the band luck but will definitely not recommend this nor rewatch.
I should have read the synopsis before watching this. I hate the sad ones. 😫
It wasn't really all that sad but just a few tragedian that weren't acted well because I really didn't feel anything except frustration. Usually I am a crybaby when tragedy occurs in BLs, but in this one I did 🙄(eye rolls) more than anything.
I completely agree! This was a BL, but only because lead characters were guys...this could have been a sweet ML/FL teenage love story. I kept getting angry at BF1 being a bit selfish. And what was with that scene where Plus One confessed he "fell for him" in the rain but BF1 said "I'll get back to with an answer" when we all know he likes Plus One. Seriously? The basketball/child-hood friend got cheated on all levels. Granted, a lot is on him for not confessing, which I assume he was reluctant because he felt anything is better than nothing with Plus One.
Overall, very tepid series that could have been better, even for China.
The lack of kissing is odd and I feel the actors possibly didn't agree to it? IDK This was not a standard BL, but with the barely lukewarm performances, I feel it's a stretch to call it a BL, and simply a teenage bromance (which for me, personally, is not the same).
I agree... this could have been a 12-episode... really would have liked a bit slower ending putting everything…
IKR?! I wanted to see Ju Taeson character stupidly puppy dog clingy to Chaeha... because I can totally see it from him in private when it's just the two of them. 🥰
If I'm going to be honest, the ending was a little rushed. I feel like they should've showed us how life was after…
I agree... this could have been a 12-episode... really would have liked a bit slower ending putting everything together. Also, would have liked a scene of them together in either of their abodes 'connecting' as lovers after their confessions to each other. I realize this is selfish and I'm not talking NC, but just something stupidly romantic.
Awesome review and I could not have said it better myself! I agree...best Korean BL ever...so far. Let's hope this can set the bar that others hope to surpass. I would hope future K-BL directors to glean from this as to what is perfection in mature BL storytelling. We need more mature KBLs... there's a place for the others as well, and I enjoy them, but being an older viewer I am hungry for more like TPP. The chemistry between the actors is amazing. I realize that historically KBL and JBL production companies don't 'pair' up actors for repeat productions, but I would welcome another BL with these two actors. It wouldn't need to be a thriller, but could be another mature storyline. I think they have potential together or even apart... This is definitely on my rewatch list.
First of, really love this series. But It got me wondering. Any ideas on what's going on and why we suddenly get…
I'm hoping it's the latter...that K BL is looking at all the popularity and revenue Th BL bringing in. A lot of entertainment artists straddle Korea and Thailand for work in music and mainstream dramas...so hopefully we'll see BLs get better attention from Korea.
I just finished this and I love it! I will definitely rewatch in the future. This series was mature and sweet. I liked that we saw a relationship between two people who are unique in their own way and found each other, as well as accepted each other for who they are. It's unfortunate that many complain they were too freaky or there wasn't enough nc. Seriously? I feel this is the point...this couple are seen as outliers and they're ok with that because they have each other. As they often spoke at the end of each episode during their journal entries... they felt so lucky that their partner didn't berate them when they were being different or imperfect. This series has become a favorite for me. Eurng often comments how his relationships ended because his partners found him too fat or too weird. Intha said he had difficulty with partners because of his religiosity and coarse language. But they both accepted each other because of the love they shared and their being on the same wavelength. Totally committed and done perfectly!
I watched it 5 times.. don't listen to ratings or reviews.. its really good and those who get annoyed are the…
Totally agree! This is why it's one of my favorites...the pace is perfect. I didn't have to fast-forward at all... which I sometimes do if the storyline is dragging or giving too much attention to side stories that really aren't critical to the main characters.
I just finished watching, and for anyone that cant stand the fl acts stupid around ml but likes the overall story…
I agree! I understand the voice bit because I tutor Chinese students at the university I teach at and encounter girls talking like that... it's become white noise to me now.
However as the series progressed it became better and totally laugh-out-loud! My roommate would comment about hearing me laugh while watching it in my room. 😊
I wasn't thrilled with the last episode though...it felt like it was just thrown together. Also I wish more was given to the second couple on how their relationship evolved.

We suffered through so you don't have to 😂

I guess I need to try and find the novel.🥰
Is it titled the same as the series?

I hope there's a season 2
I hope there's a season 2, but not holding my breath. Netflix has tricked me with this in the past.
And Gu Cheon must have infinity blood! 😭

But I used to be a heavy gamer so maybe that's why 😂😂
