Depends on when XFF brother fall into the crazy princess hands. If he was the princess prisoner since the beginning, the princess probably want to use him as scapegoat if the rebellion fails. If the princess capture him after suspecting XFF still alive, than probably use him for blackmailing.

I would say her brother. I think her brother is still alive. FL father still alive although SYR told FL that he's dead, so there's a high chance that her brother still alive. FL doesn't seems to have any female friend.

He makes his choices when he decided to choose the crazy princess over his wife who sacrifice a lot for him. If that his punishment for "killing" XFF after tarnishing her reputation, not to mention destroying the Xue family, then he should live with guilt for the rest of his life. All actions has consequences and i haven't seen him repent for any of his wrongdoing at all so I'm not going to feel bad for him.

The episode cut rumours started because of the new airing schedule posted by Youku and because the drama did break the rule of 45 min max per episode. I wish Youku would just tell all the viewers how many episodes the drama has or just tell outright they don't know how many episodes total rather than just let viewers speculate. Youku probably keep quite for promotion purposes because the more people talk/ complaint, more people interested to watch the drama based on word of mouth from the existing viewers.

I really don't know what XFF saw in SYR in the first place that she agree to marry him. From the flashback, it seems her father didn't really approve of her getting married to SYR.

Yikes, all the episodes (1-28) that has been aired actually exceeding 45 minutes, not just few episodes. The longest is episode 2, nearly 1 hour. So basically the drama team did break the rules.

Whats up with the airing schedule? I was hoping and patiently waiting for 2 episodes day and its turn out monday also 1 episode only. Why can't youku keep 2 episodes mon-thu. Youku really want to torture the viewers.

Why this drama likes to kill of "nice and good" characters. I mean, even if FL & ML has HE, it will be Bittersweet without the people who support you from the beginning.

XH getting less and less screentime as the episode progressed. He only has screentime when he was interacting with JL or having short conversation with the emperor. In the meantime all the side characters have more screentime than the male lead.

Didn't his ex hit her head with the shovel before continuing burying her alive, not to mention her wrist got injured as well, so logic wise, how can a woman with a concussion and injured wrist dug her way out. But then, this is drama so real life logic doesn't really applied.

What happen to Zhou Yan Bang after he was hit in the head with rock? Did he got paralyse or something? He seems terrified of Yu'e.

Off all his drama list, he only has 2 modern drama. His other drama is historical costume drama.
