I just completed ' Rising with the wind' ( 2023) and loved him in that.

I am not talking about the pronunciation. They say ' Africa' like it is the name of a country. They don't say Nigeria, Somalia or whatever. In the comment section of one of the dramas , it had viewers from some of the countries in Africa, fuming.

I am glad that in this drama, the character just went abroad to volunteer and not to ' Apprika' ( like it's the name of a country!) as they have in a few other dramas!

I don't know if it's just me, but I felt that Jae in seemed kinder to Teo than she was towards DY. She always had a warm smile for Teo and he reciprocated with a broad smile too. I felt sorry for DY. She didn't seem to care that she was hurting him.

He was hateful of course. But I won't say he acted better than the actors here.( Gi Chan) I have watched many of his ( DY)other dailies and everywhere he is the nice, sweet, bland ML!

Thanks for listing it out. People tend to forget.

In the older drama The Promise, he is the bad guy. Cheats, has an evil mistress, child dies....similar happenings. One of the best revenge dailies I feel.

The Promise was one of the best revenge dramas. The ML here was the bad guy there. In that one the revenge starts at exactly half way.

I started late. Saw the first few, skipped all the misery and then came to the juicy revenge parts.

I too felt that the written review didn't match the rating given.

I would love to see the same actor in another drama with a better role.

Dancing ( choreography)has evolved so much that mere repetitive steps are not seen as part of any KPop songs these days. Of course I don't expect him to dance like JHope or Jungkook. But , they should have put a bit more effort in the choreography.

Who on earth made this guy a dancer? My goodness! He can't dance for nuts! Imagine making him a k pop dancer! He repeats the same steps with some Taikwondo poses in between!! The poor actor has been played real bad. His role is unnecessary and annoying. His dance scenes are cringe!

That could be it. I have seen many other dramas of his. He emotes much better in those. ( Of course he was the ' bad guy' in a few of them!

I find the professor and Seri lack chemistry. I mean , I like the actors , but they look so awkward even when they just lightly hug? ( The senior actors look more natural when they hug.)There is a 10 yr age gap between the actors, so is that what holds them back? I wonder. I feel that chinese actors are more free during intimate scenes, some how. Does anyone else think so?
