I’m real glad they aged up Kinn in the series, the thought of him as a student didn't sit right with me
I agree. The idea of a mafia prince ready to overtake and still being a student was a bit meh. Also the fact that they are on different levels of maturity (for lack of a better word) needed them to be a little apart in age
I am glad you brought this up and I do agree with you on a lot of things. I saw a few comments regarding this…
Oh my, I am so tempted to get out of work and start this already by your description. But i must contain myself 😠i have a long weekend coming up though so I'll try and binge as many eps as possible. You'll be hearing from me.
And I'm certainly glad that such topics are becoming part of conversation in a genre that is so easily dismissed by people as this "made for straight girls" thing. I love when BLs try to give us something way more than what we've come to expect.
I read on Twitter that the actor who plays Tofu said its a happy ending for them both and that they are satisfied with it? But I will prepare myself to expect Tofu leaving his human form behind cause that could potentially be a happy ending in its own right. I'm sure I'll need lots of tissues and cocoa either way.

I knew i never liked her. Ugh. But now I'm intrigued. You have no idea how hard I've been avoiding Miracle of Teddy Bear. Since i knew its angsty I decided to binge it cause i like torturing myself like that.

Agree on everything, love. It shouldn't ever be excused in any context. How's la cuisine going? I dropped it after they officially got together cause i knew the same jealous girl trope was coming soon
Can someo e please explain to me the concept of a soul reaper? Are they dead? Are they alive? It seems like they…
Yes soul reapers are dead. The rules change depending on the series. In the context of this series, it seems that the reapers spend time in the mortal world at all times. I don't know how best to word this but they perhaps do not have a world like the spirit world, heaven, hell and stuff because they are souls needed on earth to guide others on their journey. And when they are not working, they blend in with humans (in this case whenever he is wearing his Hawaiian attire). So since he is presenting as a human to people like Doctor Nuch, he still pays rent like a normal human.
I love most of the varied opinions on the show. And I encourage anyone coming here to feel unencumbered with worry…
I am glad you brought this up and I do agree with you on a lot of things. I saw a few comments regarding this issue of people being mad about SA that might come up in the next episode. And honestly, I am just confused. Because SA, especially under the influence of drugs is something that has been used in other BLs a lot and has been conveniently ignored by the same people who are getting mad currently. It's very funny to me that they find this shattering, even with the kind of world this is set in but were okay ignoring it in "fluffy" shows as they call it. Almost feels like a personal vendetta against this show in particular. That being said, it is obviously not something that I personally feel comfortable about considering it is completely non-con. And I would not mind if some of the events that will happen between KP in the next episode get toned down a little. But for the VP storyline, it's something that cannot be avoided no matter how much people crib about it so I'm thinking of just ignoring these comments and watching on my own. But I will be here for people who may be bashed for liking it. Personally, even while reading the book, I did not forgive Vegas for what he did even though a redemption arc was presented. I did, however, understand his actions (even though they do not justify what he did). So I'll be keeping the same headspace with the series as well. I know I'll hate a lot of the things that will happen to Pete but I'll take it as part of the story.
