Thank you. I agree with most of what you said. This was actually my kind of bl. Yes, maybe 10 or 12 episodes would…
Thanks for mentioning the break up cause i loved it as well...real, adult relationships and break ups look like this and im so happy it was portaryed that way
The ending could maybe have been better but I'm also quite okay with it. They survived and are trying to be there for each other to the best of their abilities. They're in love and as happy as they can be without the family they love around them (grandma and korn, fuck everyone else). The end for Korn and tonkla makes sense cause there was no coming back from the stuff that they did and no escaping his faults/his life for Korn. I'm gonna give it a 8.5 though cause I still maintain that they could have developed tyme and great so so so much better had they paced it properly even with the 8 episodes. I know people are gonna come at me for saying this, especially those that love Tonkla cause for them he was central to that was happening but no, we did not need so much of his sexcapades at all cause them being there did not add anything but them not being there would have added time for other avenues to be explored more. Also some of the acting, especially from JJ could have been a lot better...so yea. FOR ME, this is a 8.5. Excited and hopeful to see more of Bible and Jes and also hope BoC explores more with bas and fuaiz cause the potential there is crazy.
You really found wonderful words to describe the complexity and feelings that the series conveys. Thank you! πEven…
A subjective opinion is a PERSONAL belief or judgment about a topic that is based on an individual's feelings, experiences, and perceptions. They are often influenced by factors such as culture, personal taste, and social norms
It means that they're a fan of that other man whose name i don't even take and would eat this up if it still starred him. But now that its not, every week is a competition with themselves to find something to hate about with this show, particularly targetting bible. Don't know if you've noticed but they're here every week with their "opinion". And they will be next week too even after people logically explain to them that they're perpetuating stereotypes and not opinions
This drama is getting pretty ridiculous, but let me dive into the theory first before addressing the nonsense…
Them being childhood friends os very possible cause when Great got scared, Tyme didn't say "You're afraid of dogs?", he said "You're STILL afraid of dogs?", meaning he knew about this fear already. Granted he tried to explain it saying he researched but that still doesn't explain the wording he chose
People having selective amnesia on this page, repeating the same old things. Maybe because they did not get the agreeable comments they were probably hoping for
Anyway if anyone's interested, here's a fix-it of sorts i wrote after ep 3 cause grandma pissed me off...and im even more pissed today for obvious reasons https://archiveofourown.org/works/58099273
The way i would probably do the same cause i be deleting stuff when i don't want to a lot ππ That's what pisses me off even more cause i love stuff That's got to do with these crazy mental health issues so much and I'd be eating it up with both hands had it been a longer series like the usual BLs with multi couples. I'm still enjoying it a lot..i just don't see the need to have him always get fucked and those scenes individually being longer than all tymegreat scenes combined π
Like?? I don't understand why people can't comprehend that both things can be true at the same time. " this show was meant for jesbible so i wanna see more of them, please" and "i love the complexity of tonkla but it would fit better on a longer series and could even be fleshed out more by leaving out his NC scenes" That's literally all we are saying ππ Bipolar seems a little too simple for sammon's style but DID is very very possible. My mind immediately went to schizophrenia though cause of how he seems to have murderous intent and also tends to imagine/make up things..cause that end scene was clearly a figment of his imagination. And with the flashback being from his POV it could very well be him attaching a lot more meaning to Korn's actions than it probably really was
Tell me about it. They're just two supporting characters at this point. It's so frustrating to me. I had such…
The minute i knew Sammon was involved with this I was so freaking excited cause she always hits it out of the park but then BOC had to go and ruin it. I think the issue is that they wanna push their new generation actors, especially Fuaiz. And there's nothing wrong with that provided they do it where they treat all their actors fairly. DFF was well balanced and everyone had their moment to shine. And here goes 4 minutes where we have to question ourselves every week if we misunderstood the trailer and jesbible are really the leads ππ They also seem to be wanting to push Bas more...which is great again cause i think he's a decent actor JUST DO IT IN A LONGER SERIES WHICH YOU WRITE SPECIFICALLY FOR THEM ππ
I'll be back to watching this show when it turns into the one i signed up for ππ someone needs to sit BOC down and explain to them wtf main characters mean, especially when they as a production company decided to make it only 8 eps
Side note: from all the unnecessary NC scenes that we get of Tonkla (don't come for me, they literally are unnecessary, atleast to the degree that we get them), i did gather that Tonkla could maybe be schizophrenic. I know damn well it wasn't just a metaphor when he talked about killing the cat. And we all also know he's high on drugs a lot. There's something wrong with him and its actually pretty interesting and would have me so much more intetested if this was a longer series and it wasn't drawing away from the ones who are SUPPOSED to be the leads.
