Soooo,guys…is it a good drama with a good plot? Also chemistry wise?
I’m asking this cos,I’ve only been invested in 2 Thai BL dramas(Spare me your mercy & Love in the moonlight). So please lemme know if I should start this 🤗.

I definitely agree with you,normally I barely come on MDL nor be in the comment section as it can be filled with a lot of rude & hateful people.
I’m only active when a drama I really like is airing & even that I barely comment. But since I’ve been looking forward to this drama,I decided to get active again and then,I come on here and see people being very negative with toward the actress,the ML or the story,when it just began.
I’m only watching cos I know the age of chu qiao in the novel & I think the age of the actress suits the novel chu qiao great.
They may or may not be exactly new or famous actors,but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t give them a chance. It’s a damn if you do & damn if you don’t on here 😐.
So this will probably be my last time commenting on here & just continue enjoying the drama & rate every episode as it goes,cos at the end of the day,everyone worked hard on their roles & they deserve credit for it.

Damn,people are still complaining?😒. I just want to put this out there
1. If you’re still unsure whether to keep watching,you can either give it a couple of more episodes or drop it.
2. Chu qiao was barely in her teens when she was sold to slavery & had to fight of the wolves,until zhuge yue saved her.
3. She was barely 17-18,when she joined Yan xun & his army and also her being a general.
4. Yan xun didn’t save her,as the synopsis says on here,it was rather zhuge yue who did during the wolf hunt & also kept her in the mansion,even taught her a lot of martial art skills and other things.
5. The actress portrays chu qiao very well,as CQ’s character doesn’t show emotions,rigid,cold even. It has nothing to do with her acting as it’s how chu qiao is. Whether you want to watch PA or not is entirely up to you,cos chu qiao in PA didn’t show any emotions just like this drama.
6. If you REALLY can’t stand this drama,it’s okay to drop it,but some of you are very rude on here which sucks out the fun in the comments as we’re all here to discuss the story and come up with theories.
7. We’re ONLY 5 episodes in,so offcourse what you’re expecting won’t happen from the start,there’re still 35 more episodes to go & a LOT to unpack 🙂.

So far,what was shown in the trailer,part of it has been seen in the first 5 episodes. There’s more to come,you don’t expect them to shove all the trailer in the first couple of episodes? Plus there’re some changes in the drama too.
There’re those who’re confused about the flashbacks,so those who watched Princess agents explain it to them.

Actually,CQ was already in love with ZY,just that she didn’t know what that feeling was.
She was a slave,went through soo much…that’s why she’s not good with expressing her feelings.
But the love was there long ago. In the novel,she was very depressed & often had nightmares about that day & kept blaming herself. I think that’s when she finally realized that she loved zhuge yue.

I guess people truly haven’t watched PA,or else they wouldn’t complain about the FL’s acting,when the other actress in PA was just like this.
To me,they embody chu qiao perfect.
People complaining about flashbacks will be the same people complaining that they don’t understand the plot 😐.

Yeah.

No love triangle. CQ always loved ZY. She just isn’t good with expressing her feelings well.
Her feelings toward YX wasn’t of love but more like care.
ZY & CQ weren’t in a relationship,neither was she in a relationship with Yan xun.
She ends up with the guy who saved her when she was in the frozen lake, they even get married and have kids in the novel.
I’m not so sure if that will happen in the drama since the actress is quite young.
There’s even a novel for this drama.

PA didn’t end well due to plagiarism,they were actually preparing for S2,but the script writer or so got hit with plagiarism and it ended with the cliffhanger.
I’m also curious to how ZY will get the poison out,since they’ve changed some parts in the drama.
Maybe chu qiao will find a way to get the poison out 🤔.

That’s how YX was too in the novel,the obsession was crazy that I just 🙄 at him.
ZY on the other hand,was always helping chu qiao even before AND after she joined YX’s team. He may be cold but he does love chu qiao enough to even go to the lake even tho he knew it was a trap.
ZY even kept an eye on her from time to time after he regained consciousness,until they finally met.

Also, chu qiao isn’t very good with her emotions,as in she doesn’t know how to express them well. In PA & even in the novel,she always had this stern,cold aura around her.
But that didn’t change the fact that,she was loyal to those loyal to her and would kill her enemies for her people.
I think the actress is doing a good job portraying that. Same with zhuge yue,he’s a cold man & ruthless but he has a soft spot for chu qiao(I’d say she’s his weakness),cos he knew coming to the frozen lake was a trap but he STILL went anyway.

I’d say 80% accurate and the 20% is the new changes added.

In the novel, zhuge yue didn’t take poison for chu qiao,it was actually his right hand man who saved him from the lake. No poison in the novel
After the lake scene,Yan xun was present a lot in the novel,but in the drama he’s unconscious. Also zhuge yue will be more present after he and chu qiao finally reunite.
There was no Yan xun in the lake like the drama nor was there zhuge yue saving chu qiao in the frozen lake.
ZY & CQ actually met again at the lantern festival,since CQ was very sad that he died,not knowing that ZY had always been watching her.

Ooohhh,you gotta finish it. But lucky for you,you get to watch the sequel…unlike me who kept dreaming of an announcement for a sequel from the same cast after PA ended,only to find my hopes shattered 😕.

I had no idea it had romance,when I first watched it on YouTube like back in 2017 ish. I was too immersed in the plot that,the romance & chemistry came soo naturally for me,I was rooting for zhuge yue & chu qiao.
Then I screamed at the final lake scene 😩😩.

Yeahh,but I hope they do add that part,since chu qiao knows zhuge yue is alive but hasn’t seen him yet.
But for me,that part in the novel had more of an impact.
