In some scenes, I actually liked the FL, but now she’s just getting on my nerves. She’s so childish and full of herself (just because she’s rich) I used to love the chemistry between the ML and FL and even hoped for a romance subplot or at least a solid duo dynamic. But honestly? Not anymore.

Up to episode 16, it’s clear that Zang Hai is primarily focused on his mission and has been trained to resist forming emotional attachments, so it feels like he’s using An Tu mainly for strategic purposes at this point. There’s no obvious sign of genuine romantic feelings from him yet, and his interactions with her are cautious and calculated. However, knowing his character—honorable and sincere beneath the guarded exterior—I don’t believe he would deliberately manipulate or toy with someone’s emotions just for personal gain. He seems to value honesty and integrity, even if it takes him time to open up. Meanwhile, An Tu’s feelings are also still ambiguous, so for now, their relationship feels more like a complex alliance than anything deeper. It will be interesting to see if and how their bond evolves in the upcoming episodes
