A roller coaster that starts high goes down and finish again on top

For me the show started at pure perfection. It was my first k drama and I really liked it. The first two episodes hyped me so up that I couldn’t wait for next episode. Then same thing with 3 and 4 but after a while the story feels to get soften. It lost the thing that made it great. Hopefully it makes a comeback with 2-3 last episodes. Especially episode 11 and first half of 12
I like the ost song. It was good to hear that. But the best part of the show was the characters and actors/Actresses. Characters choices and acts were comprehensible I may not act like one of them but I definitely understand if someone act like them
The story tried to implant some good twist ls to finish the show with 12 episodes. I like and didn’t like those twists at the same time. The twists were the stuff that cause episode 11 and 12 be good. Not the twist by itself but by its results

God bless the person who wrote the story

A god damn masterpiece. God bless everyone involved with the show. Great story telling, great ending, very good plot twists and lovely characters. Just finished the show and I’m already missing it lol
At first I didn’t like the characters that looks to be the antagonists but how things turned upside down I was speechless. Like all those characters that I didn’t like and the ending was a masterpiece

Before watching the show keep in mind this is not a teenage (to be more accurate shoujo show. Imo its audience is actually adults (like josei show)

I’m glad that I watched it

What a show. The show was so good that I finished it in 2 days. Watched all episodes back to back and I have a love hate relationship ship with it. It’s a super slow burn romance but with really good story that makes me want to watch more
The cast of the show is super good. I loved how all of them matched together
Lee Jung Jae as Im Hyeon is a very unique MC. He is playing a role of a rich actor and for the first time the MC was not doing weird stuff. He was not reserving whole restaurant just for a date or other stuff that you usually saw rich MCs do. Instead he is a patient character who have is own problems and get better during the show
Im Ji Yeon as Wi Jeong Sin is your general cute FMC which I really liked. She is super lovely and cute
Kim Ji Hoon as Ju Jae Hyeong started his role as love rival for MC but later find a better place. Really loved him after I finished the show
Seo Ji Hye as Yun Hwa Yeong was the reason I watched this show. I watched “crash landing on you” before and really loved her acting. Because of that I add this show to my watchlist and her acting in here was also a banger. She was shown as a lead female but unfortunately with less focus on her. Still love how she plays her role. It was great
I’m not going in details for each side character but I love them all
The story is super good. It’s interesting, have a good mystery, great pacing, but one thing I didn’t like that much was some aspects of the story
The show starts a mystery at ep 1 then forgot about it until ep 12-14. Or if it’s not forgotten the hints are super small and forgivable. It’s not only about the mystery but I feel that in some other parts of the story as well. If I want to break story into some smaller stories I would organize it this way:
1- main love story (which can be broken in 1st and 2nd half with 1st half being MC and his rivalry chasing for FMC and 2nd half is when FMC understands her feeling towards MC until the end)
2- sub love story (romance between other couple)
3- mystery story
4- the general story of the show that everything is happening during that
1- main love story is good in general. The first half is perfect. The 2nd half is good. Doesn’t felt as good as first half but it was still good
2- sub love story had feels to be shorten. I felt like some stuff are happening without a very good explanations or they could implanted better. It was understandable but could be better
3- the mystery and how the show deals with the bad guys were meh to me. It felt rushed, shorten, and unexplained. There was a character who seems to be a bad character at first. And later we found out she is a victim as well. But the show doesn’t give us a proper explanation about what happened to any of them afterwards. I think they tried to keep everything half way open so viewers can decide things for them selves but when it comes to other aspects we have lots of ideas about what happened or why that happened but about the mystery it feels like out of nowhere. No explanation, no story. Just being there because writer want it to be there
4- general story was the best imo. It was what I really liked the most. The show is a comedy melodrama and in the story they joke a lot that if MC wants to play a melodrama he will only end up with a support roles or guest roles. I really liked how they connect the show story to the actual show and I found it kinda funny

Thanks for reading this far. My last word for you: if you are looking for something fun to watch which actually worth it this one is the one imo

I recommend it

I liked the show even though it was not what I usually watch/like to watch I enjoyed it
The show starts with MC doing aura farm and damn that’s cool. I was hooked to few first episodes because of MC’s aura farm but the story hooked me even harder. The show have a great mysterious story which we will uncover that over different episodes
The show was episodic but it didn’t felt that way to me. Every episode have their own story but they are also connected to previous ones
Some of the backstories can be agonizing to some ppl so it may not be for everyone
I also really liked how it felt like that characters (specially when the minister talks about the rules and how ppl should treat teachers)

Terrible start but gets better give it a chance

All spoiler parts will be marked carefully
I just finished the show and it have lots of pros and cons
I’m going to start with the cons
Cons:
First thing that I like to point out is the pacing and speed of the show. I usually watch shows in 1.5x speed but I watched this show in 2x because it feels super slow. This may not be that important but another problem that I had with the show is the story pacing. It’s super slow. The first 4 episodes were boring to me (not that interesting) I could feel the potential of the story but it couldn’t use it. I was in the middle of ep 4 that I decided that I will drop the show if I didn’t enjoy the ep 5. And episode 5 was exactly when I feel the show getting better
One thing that I really hate in the show was the flashbacks. This story relies on flashbacks to explain the story to us. He saw a basketball a flashback to his high school days. Eating food another flashback. Each episode had at least 2 flashbacks and I really didn’t like that. I feel like they want to deliver the story but didn’t know how and flashbacks seems the most easiest one to them
In lots of parts of story I felt like the story have some problems (or plot holes) and things didn’t feels to match together very well. Could be better imo
This one is mostly personal but I didn’t liked some aspects of the things they were showing here is an example containing small spoiler. Skip to pros if u don’t want to be spoiled
[start of spoiler]
An old woman (female lead who is 37-38 years old old in story) felt into a pool. One young guy and one famous baseball player jump into water to help her. And no one do not care why both of them jumped. Or why the baseball player jumped instead of sending his guards. No one do not point anything out. There are some weird situations like this that I considered as problems of story (plot holes) as well
[end of spoiler]
Pros:
There is not much to say about the pros without going through the whole story. It’s a very beautiful story about how a man find his marriage life problems by getting young and fixing them, and become a better father/husband. In this way he helps his children and his wife without them noticing
Really liked the show. It is not a cup of tea for everyone but if you are interested in family binding, or shows with focus on family life it can be a good one for you
Another thing that I really liked in the show was how the switch between young version of MC and old version of him when they wanted to show his acts as an act of father/husband

Worth a one-time watch if you are in the mood for it

I just finished this show and I kinda like it. I watched it all fast and back to back cause it don’t have anything that engaging (in a good way) there are no complicated plots and plot twists, there are no love triangle or stuff like that. Just couples that like each other and have fun together And help each other through life. It’s not an outstanding show that you watch and say wow. But it’s a show that you will definitely enjoy if you just want to watch something lovey dovey. I would recommend the show to be watched if you are in the mood of something that you turn your brain off and watch
Overally I liked the show and imo it worth a one time in a correct time. Objectively I’ll give it 7/10 but subjectively I’ll give it 8/10 because of the romance the whole story in general

Goofy show that you don’t want to miss (have a great comedy and romance)

Just like the title it’s just a goofy show. I was chilling and watching it and it was really good. Missed the main female protagonist and her cuteness after the show. Really enjoyed my time watching it
If you are looking for something romance to chill this show is for you. Fun story and funny characters very good watch

P.s: I have to updated my overall ratings form 8 to 9 because of how much I missed the comedy of the show. I usually don’t tend to go back and rewatch a show specially if I just watched it but I really missed to comedy of this show

This show is a must watch [spoiler part is marked. Don’t worry]

I don’t know where to start. It’s a very good show. A heart touching show that put me on the verge of crying almost every episode (from middle to last). This show is emotional rollercoaster. At first it was fun, romance, and fantasy, but things takes another turn. It become more romance and more dramatic. Then it becomes more tense, with more drama. You feel more bad for each character. One second you are laughing another one you are crying. And what a good roller coaster. I didn’t like the show at first at all. It was very slow pacing and I was thinking maybe I quit it because it is not the genre that I like to watch but what a good choice that I finished it
Didn’t like two parts of the show which I say without spoiling:
1- who was the guy who send him back in time. Tbh they could remove the plot twist by whole and nothing would change. Or they should keep it with more details and more information. Just saying oh yeah he was he is not what I like. I guessed that at the start as well. But why is it like that. And why it is working. No explanation
2- this one is going to be a spoiler. Start of the spoiler:”
The girl who was send back in time changed her mother future and in the end we see how her mother is different by a lot. But she is still the same as she was. I can’t accept it. If your mother opinion/way of life changed then you won’t be the person who you are now. Specially physically. Because we can see that her mother turns into a thin, fragile woman but the girl her self is still like before”
End of spoiler

Subjectively great but objectively not. Touched my soul but it’s not for everyone

A really heart warming show. It’s not that perfect show that I go everywhere and say watch it cause it’s masterpiece but during the show I really feel like it touched my soul. Really like the character development and how they became a better partner. It’s not a show that I recommend to everyone but if you are looking for a romance with some small romantic drama and character development it’s definitely for you

P.S: tbh it’s not a great show that I watch and say oh god what a plot or what a good twist. But it really got me. The 9.5 points I got to show is totally subjective because I feel like it touch my soul and emotion. I liked the show on and off at first and middle because objectively it’s not a great show. But when I finished it it felt just right. It wasn’t short that I say I missed it. It wasn’t long that I say it was boring. And the characters feels like humans to me. They are not perfect people. They do not look like they are perfect. They just feel like humans from my era. I can see that there might be a friend of me who have some faults in his relationship or have wrong view to the life just like one of the characters in the show

Not bad for one time watch but not good as well

The start of the show was really good. At first I didn’t like it but after few episodes it actually became interesting
Unfortunately what I didn’t like about the show was how they ended up the story
The show start with a funny, romance story. Goes into some mystery and more romance scenes. But right before the end they add some drama, and finish it with happy ending. To me it feels like they wanted to force that drama and happy ending together at a same time which I really didn’t like
The show is fun to watch but also super forgettable. Didn’t found anything in the show worth remembering or rewatching
P.S: I enjoyed my time watching the show but didn’t like that last 3 episodes. They could finish it better

Watch it for the drama and you will enjoy it

It’s not a good show for someone who want to learn about autistic people or care about how good the FMC is shown as an autistic person. But if you ignore that and watch the show for its unique drama it’s actually a well written one. FMC is an autistic character but sometimes you don’t feel like that she is autistic and that’s because the actress is not irl which is understandable. But she casted her role greatly resulting in lots of goofy and awkward moments. Sometimes you feel like FMC is just like a child. But sometimes you feel like she is a genius. That different sides of FMC doesn’t match very well together and the reason is no matter how many autistic ppl you met by the end you can’t understand them fully because as it was said in the show as well they live in a totally different world
This show have a great drama, with a very interesting story. It’s not a mystery show so don’t expect a perfect puzzles. But what I really liked about this show was how FMC learns different things about her life and her relationships by the cases that she was solving

A very good balanced k drama

I usually starts with what I didn’t like in the show but I’m going to start with what I liked because what I didn’t like are mostly spoilers through the story which I’ll mark
1- story
One of the things that I really liked about this drama is the story in general. It have a very well written interesting story that tempted me to watch the show for the sake of story and not only romance. The romantic relationships the character developments all were good. Characters are not perfect and they improve over time. They may look perfect at first sight but when you meet them you saw they are not perfect but they improve during the story
2- romance pacing/speed
This show is one the slow burn - slice of life like romance dramas. Which I really liked in the show. I feel like this is the way that show want to express character different feeling
3- length and ending
The length of the story was just right. 12 episodes doesn’t feel to be short or long for no reason. It was just right. And the ending was really understandable. Even though it have time skip at the end it’s not a weird time skip. The show wraps up everything with a really balanced ending which match’s character personalties
Now I would like to get into what I didn’t like. Be careful around spoilers
1- switching speed of things for 1 episode and just one episodes
[spoiler of episode 7] In episode 7 characters got separated from each other and then FMC discovers how much she love the MC
2- cliche breakups
By cliche breakup I mean when a character decides to finish their good relationship with no explanation to the partner. And the reason behind is “I thought it’s better for both of us”
[spoiler of episode 8] In episode 7 they just got in relationship and right after that in episode 8 “let’s break up” out of nowhere just for the sake of drama and emotional roller coaster. Hopefully all the dramas got handled in a very good way by the story with MC being a person who really loves their partner

This last one is just personal to me and may not everyone be fan of that. I met Shin Hae Sun (FMC) in Mr. Queen and she play her role super good super smooth. The balance between her being funny and serious was very good in that show. We had the same thing in episode 1 that she start with being fun-friendly boss and then she become serious. Imo it was a lost potential for the show but implanting that definitely requires so much extra work for story to much together

Last word: thanks for reading up to here. If you like office romances, or political office fights I recommend this show to you. One of the few good dramas I saw recently

I recommend it

Overally I liked the show. Good story that I enjoyed (it had some problems imo that I’ll explain later but in general I liked it). It have great soundtracks. I love when the bubbly like sound start playing. Give me the feeling that we are finding some hints
The show is fun, have a good mystery emotional roller coaster between romance and drama; it also carry the story very well. My only personal problem is how the mystery goes on. In general it’s good but some aspects of the mystery feels like they were added without any plan. To be more accurate you see some flashbacks at start. The mystery related to those flashbacks are the main focus of the show and it carried out very well. But there is a small part of the story releated to that, that it came out of nowhere which I didn’t like at all. It was there to make things more understandable and acceptable but it felt to be added out of nowhere
Also imo they could add more fun scenes to the show using female lead being a fangirl but they decided to keep that just as some dialogues like there is a new event coming up and no more

It was good but not that good

I just finished the show and tbh comparing to business proposal and what’s wrong with secretary Kim it was my least favorite. It’s good show but not as good as them. Here is the reason:
1- business proposal have a great comedy. With great romance between support characters. Here we have some good comedy in the girls trio but it’s not that good
2- what’s wrong with secretary Kim have very interesting story With a good mystery and plot twist but here the story was not that good to me. The mystery (small spoiler) of the Male lead about their mother is not that interesting, and detailed and everything get solved eventually without not that much of info farming. Just like I talk with him and then I asked him and that was it. Done

But overall it was a good show. Even though it was 16 episodes it didn’t feel dragged at all. The romantic story and the couple is fun to follow. Unfortunately some of the support/background characters really pissed me of and they didn’t get what they really deserved. I would appreciate it more if the show put more focus on other characters relationship and stories

A good show that could be better

In general it’s a good show. A fun ride that you enjoy the story the ending and the drama but there were a few things that I didn’t really like about the show
1- first of all for me the show kinda feels like it’s dragged. Imo they could finish the story with 12-13 episodes and the changes wouldn’t be noticeable
2- it should put more focus on the side romances. I would have liked the show more if it had put more focus on the side romances, adding more details to their love stories and characters. Especially one of them that was mentioned in the very last episodes could be done so much better
3- beside the main love story other aspects of the story kinda feel short to me. In fact the main love story could be felt in almost all episodes while the other elements/arcs didn’t have much detail. It’s also the reason that I felt the show is dragged and could be shorter is the same. Extra unnecessary focus on the love story which were done/almost done many many episodes before the actual ending of the show
