I feel like at least one of CGH's moping scenes from ep 30 could've been cut, lol!

I agree that her constant lecturing seems worse because its so long. in a shorter format it would've been like 2 episodes max that it took place and people would've had more patience for it.

She isn't nice to the ML. However, she's also scared to get close to him because she's afraid she'll die (or whatever her tortuous ending was) as that's what happened in the script. She's also mad about his deceptions. And he legit did try to kill her multiple times. The only reason he didn't succeed was because of her "plot armor". Personally not surprised she tried to drop him so many times given that and what she believes from the script. She lectures him a lot and I think people got sick of the lecturing once they felt he'd been redeemed or whatever. Ultimately she does end up trying to help him once she realizes he's not evil, per se. I think people just feel he did more than enough groveling to get her back sooner and they just want more lovey dovey scenes. I personally like to see a ML grovel, so this is the show for me, lol!

CPR is almost never done correctly in television. Apparently script writer and directors aren't required to take that training. lol.

Yeah, the emperor keeps saying that he hasn't chosen because Nan Heng has a lot of support from the court (probably because he is the one who actually gets things done) and he's got to know Nan Rui is an idiot. I wonder if this all amounts to him wanting Nan Heng to be brutal enough to seize power.

She still believes that he will lead to her death/torture and so she still wants to keep her distance. The only way she can do that is if she cuts him completely off from her because if she listens to him she won't be able to ignore her feelings and will give in to him. My personal opinion. Given how events keep happening despite her attempts to change them, I can see how she thinks that might be the only way to survive this.

For some reason I feel like he is pushing Nan Heng to rebel against him, like he wants him to take over, or at least try to.

Tried watching this, but the subtitles were so bad its incomprehensible.

LOL! She does do a lot of running in this show, but its based off a webtoon by the name of "Kidnap Seon jae and Run" or "Run Away With Seon Jae on Piggyback" depending on how its translated. I think they just tried to shorten the title into something less weird, lol!

This was so much fun so far. The two leads pulled it off well and they have good chemistry.

My best guess is everyone knew she had a bad breakup with the guy. Still, none of them were cool, that's for sure.
