Both are quite toxic but it's hard to say which one is more or less. In Revenged Love the main lead gets another guy (not the other main lead) se*ually abused and in this one the main lead se*ually abuses the other main lead. So both are toxic in that sense. Both Chi Cheng and Hua Yong are manipulative. But I would say that Hua Yong wins in that category lol. Although Fan Xiao might take his place... (To My Shore).

After the final ep the rating fell hard unfortunately since a lot of people disliked how the 2nd couple's story ended.

It's being promoted as a BL and I haven't heard anyone say otherwise so I doubt it will be a bromance! It's based on the novel after all.
