nah i am pretty sure she didn't like the most of that novel not just the ending also that was not his first novel my guy was depressed when he wrote that novel😭 also even tho some parts were taken from the real world not everything was maybe he made his parents good because he wished that irl and killed them just for the story of the novel and he said in the last ep all of his novels were written for lmm

i don't know how far you watched but i think there is a reason she can change the story also she was not really the main lead in the drama she is but not in novel / game story she's villainous a supporting role since she was not really evil like how the og character was suppose to be that part got changed to so she and ml are both supporting roles
idk i have heard that i am guessing since they were both older that one just made more sense here but what was Duan Jia Xu & Zhang Lu Rang ones i forgot
