want to rewatch .. but also so scared n frightened knowing how much the story pulls you in and how !! i need more time .. but i will rewatch coz im sure i ll have more understanding then too !!

finished weeks ago .. this show still is in my head for its story and the format .. and the more i think about it .. and when i talk about it . i realise how much more of an impressive intelligent show this is completely warped in so many layers the amount of subtext or themes which are not up n loud in this show is way more and i realise it only now that i have sat with the show for so long .. and the soundtrack .. all the songs used .. n the bgm tracks .. still are on repeat .. thats quite a long time for me to still find it so full of feels !! i dunno if its good bad or what .. but it stirrs me up still !!

it was good .. story got a bit dragging .. but as usual they taper over it with amazing cinematography and beautiful visual storytelling .. it feels liek a classic .. they got the era setup right .. characters were well written .. its a good show .. but dont expect it to be twisted and all like double helix or deep in .. this is for the lovers and nicholas sparky type of love ..

what did i just watch !! .. this has been a very convoluted ride .. n i loved every moment of it .. this show played with my mind like chris nolan does with his sci fis .. mind bending inception this is ..

The writing i dunno on paper it feels like ya bl in a bl .. n all .. ive seen shows that had similar theme .. but this .. this ventured into some real unknown unexplored storytelling and boundaries .. the story of the movie .. n the story of the show .. the beats of each .. the similarities of both .. the parallels of both the stories .. the feelings .. the ending .. i cant beleive they pulled this off... just for the genius of the writer driector and the crew .. i feel 10 is too less a rating .. the music, the score .. the tracks chosen .. the cinematography . n some of the shots .. it was layered thought i hope .. coz no way one can come up with these just like that ..

This show will play mind games on you .. questions your understanding .. ur pov .. ultimately becomes the camera .. i surrendered .. i dint think too much .. and the journey was the most unpredictable one ..

i have to give kudos to all the actors .. no way this felt like an easy feat to pull off without dedication .. n the crew did a fab job as a team .. i could see all aspects coming together to form this amazing magic ..

i held off on watching this .. even maybe judged it by the poster and synopsis .. but well universe had other plans for me and this show ..
i still hold double helix as the show that impacted me most this year .. but this is a hardcore second .. or even a tie in two diff genres .. chinese BL .. this was one of the best !!

loved it .. it was confusing feeling though .. they flipped the template .. each episode had a hicup n sorted by the end of that epi too .. which was a welcome change .. the supporting cast was fab .. jo tui ki and everyone ..
the script wasnt that enthralling but thats where BL royalty steps in .. elevated it to levels one cant expect .. just them looking at each other is enough for the rush ..
so just go ahead n watch it .. theres enuf fun packed .. n when royalty blesses us with a great time .. we enjoy !!

just started the binge .. ugh i missed Tay so much .. u know back then i dint really like him very much in kiss my lips and dark blue kiss .. but damn did he grow on me over the years .. and well he is an elite in BL world so .. but damn he looks good n fun here ..m and a special shout out to his adams apple .. that thing deserves it very own screen credit !!

the sweetest time i had in a long time .. everything was just good .. every moment is like happy .. this is heaven ..!! every couple and storyline was nice and just sweet n nice !! just blindly watch it !!

as a crime thriller .. it was a better one .. but i dunno i mean i cud tell what was going on by the 2ndd and 3rd episode .. so wasnt much of a thrill for me .. also love happened too quickly as well by then .. so i was basically invested only in the execution and other aspects of the show ..
the opening credts are fab .. the execution and camera work was very good .. i think that kept me going .. i wanted to see how the story is visually told .. and well it dint let me down .. so props for that .. the leads were ok .. i felt a bit unconvinced by their chemistry .. i mean bold scenes cant be the only one carrying that weight .. like on paper yes the love story works .. but by execution .. the angry scenes in the first two epis... and the aftermath of the parking lot were the only two themes that felt like something .. i mean the patch up was way too simple .. i appreciate the simplicity .. like i buy it .. prefer it .. but it just doent line up with the previous scenes ..

performance wise i have to say o jahyeon stole every scene she was in .. that parking lot scene .. damn .. i htink that was the scene of the show .. the dialogs the characters movement in the space .. the tone ... pitch .. too good .. both her and lee did well .. unfortunately the prosecutors desperation dint feel like the same character .. but one of those scenes where the antagonist just walked away with the performance .. the unhinged madness .. too good .. i liked lee chaeha in the next order .. he played his part well ... maybe not super impressed but he did a good job .. sorry mr.prosecutor .. i felt taeson has a great start .. but once he fell in love .. i think that was it .. but it wasnt bad or cringe or ameteur .. just did his job well ..

i had a lot of expectations i think .. maybe thats why i feel a bit let down or underwhelmed ..

ah the feeling of watching a monsoon love story in monsoon .. this was so cute .. i watched the movie version on gaga .. was cute ..

chen li tbh was quite charming .. it took me what 3 seconds after he first appears to say ooh he charming .. of course zhi is gonna fall in love with him .. its almost impossible not to he doesnt even have a chance .. n cmon no one wakes up anyone who they not in love with like chen li did ..

ok symbology metaphors locations all were beautiful yes .. but i think i liked that the movie dint get very heavy .. and that is what i liked ..

like the conv about documentary and chen li meeting with that camp lady yeah they were emotional but dont depress u .. and the whole dorm incident also .. it was very quickly subtly moved on to keep the focus on these two .. i like that too ..

n cmon the brother was not bad .. the whole scene of confession while zhi was sloshed long did take care of him so well .. the slaps the consoling the dragging him away .. i think that was a great scene ..
i mean yeah he was crying and all but it doesnt feel tragic u know .. maybe a bit cringe like please stop shouting .. its night ppl can hear .. but not tragic infact i was like wow reminds me so much of some of my past drunky nights lol ..

the dream sequence of chen li n zhi .. was that all a single shot .. coz omg i was jut amazed at the camera movements and the choreography of 4 moving characters .. fabulous

yeah time jumps felt excessive .. 3 years .. wow ... and girlfriends and marriage .. ok now this is basically nitpicking but its fine .. which show doesnt have some loopholes ..

yi he did a fab job as chen li .. i felt yi chen felt a bit amateur as a performance .. but regardless love this one .. mosoony love story ..

oh my god .. what did i see .. when did a normal period love story turn into something that just made me think "this is my personal best romeo n juliet rendition" ..

that last two episodes just killed me .. i just kept thinking .. their love is doomed ..

but the love i felt it .. i just came from watching journey with you n it was ok .. but i felt some more love n emotional scenes wudve made it stick to my heart .. n well they say be careful what u wish for coz this show gave me so much love n emotions and just took it to levels i dint expect to feel ..

hands down the best show i watched this week .. and theres a lot to unpack
to start of with the brother .. the scene of shu qian and shu he during their tiff .. it stuck a chord with me .. n when he listens to shu he talk about the qin string n bond .. i was like i wish he just finds it .. where did it go .. his search in the pond was so emotional .. ok that reminds me its a contant pattern one good thing immediately followed by soemthing antagonistic like immediately .. coz well not finding it put some stupid philosphy in his head n we all know what happened after that .. and even with the two leads .. one moment its love .. next moment its deception .. nnext moment is love again followed by some sort of revenge .. the last episode when "one" says "i will use what he cherishes most to exact my revenge" it killed me .. i think i felt a part of my emotions just straight up crashing
so many beautiful scenes the one during the rebelion .. the bridge .. all secrets just kept revealing .. n that fall oh god ..
hua ying was fab .. after a point it got painful for me to see him meet shu qian .. tbh i dint really get much clarity for these two ..
shen the doc was fab .. did he like hua ying .. im a bit lost .. coz if he did .. he was way too subtle about it ..
huai yi .. now this was confusing too .. coz the abott says someone from the other kingdom saw his picture n recognised him .. who was it .. it almost felt sus n that he was a plant ..
Also the ji beng kingdoms crown prince .. he stared very sus way at shu he and shu qian during that sword and qin performance .. it almost felt like he had a crush on one of them both of them or both of them coz they both were looking at each other when he was looking at them .. another question that was never answered

but all in all this was an "epic" for me .. two unfortunate happened to be princes just stuck in a battle with destiny fate and duties to everyone and everything except for their own hearts n love ..

for me kill to love !!

it was ok .. but i dunno i was left wanting for a bit more emotional plotlines .. and some more romance maybe .. the show was ok .. i remember being blown away by untamed and word of honor .. n i maybe was expecting too much to begin with ... coz they had a much longer season run .. n this had only 8 episodes .. but was good time ..

agreed something about adult chens performance felt lacking ..

i would say double helix .. followed by this one maybe .. double helix will destroy u .. this one is maybe a bit of a healer so .. i realised its been 20 days since u posted this .. so did u end up watching both ?

ok this was a loong journey ... i wasnt going crazy invested but i cudnt ignore it either .. i loved the twist after epi 8 .. jed did a fab job .. followed by old He .. im sorry i was totally in love with the dad .. i felt every emotion that Lee was emoting .. so smoothly n with zero effort .. now when we have such a stellar thespian .. of coruse in comparision the other performances felt a bit weak .. but thats where the writing saves it .. it doesnt let the story go vain .. although a certain person drowning in the sea stuck in a net .. totally threw me off .. n some other things
so who is bro hong and the other guy from my tooth your love in this story .. now hong also stood out .. even in a bit role playing im assuming a homeless challenged person .. i fell in love with the character .. i got a bit upset everytime yong was like i dont want candy .. im like how rude ..
there are some things i dint get .. does the 5 mil get paid off i never really got what yong did to begin with .. what happens with the ex client of chen .. does that get overcome .. do the pills stop .. if they were lucky then why the bias with uncle hua .. that girl from high school .. really zero consequences for her .. i mean theres drowning n voluntary jumping multiple amnesias .. n she goes scott free .. dint she start the whoel rift to begin with .. she shudve atleast struggled getting stuck in a net in the sea atleast
i loved teh whole weaving of dejavu n memories .. i know its silly .. but everytime i saw it .. it tugged at my heartstrings a bit ..
the locale was superb makes me wanna visit the place .. turtles symbology was just sanguine .. n the love making scenes .. i was like they really pushed the envelope i wasnt expecting that .. quite long scenes too .. dint leave much for imagination iykyk .. overall twas good .. maybe not best .. but it left a decent imprint ..

i think it was a smart move to have this story as part of this anthology .. the plot i dont think offered much .. the mafia brothers stole the show for me .. their equation was really fun n quirky .. n they r such goofballs .. lol .. nao n suer dint really land for me much .. although pie constantly kept reminding me of someone .. i cant rememeber who .. he is almost like gulf from tharn type .. n mark from only friends had a baby .. or a brother .. pie was more convincing .. golf needs some more work ya .. he was ok not bad but some scenes .. especailyl when he is talking to his brother after suer confesses .. it was literally like reading a news report to his brother .. where were the emotions n feelings ..

all in complains aside twas cute n fluffy as expected .. although im curious about the other couples that were teased .. plz dont tell me theres 4 more stories for fourever you season 3 ..

i dunno .. i mean show was good only .. fun .. but cmon the bromance levels were very shallow .. they were way btr in HSF cmon .. yeah the whole soul binding thing was kinda there making us feel things but .. umm .. i dunno .. i dint feel the sky nani chemistry that everyones raving about ..

but otherwise the show had fab plots .. the supernaturals were great .. the graphics were very impressive .. the bgm score .. everytime that rolling sound plays it was a different feel .. genius score .. Sky was great as Wu .. although his whole trauma of his grandpa saying you will never be a wu .. i dunno it dint feel that serious .. i mean yeah he was angry .. n rightfully so .. but he dint say mean things or in a rude or loud tone to get scarred like that .. Nanis entire story i dint really feel much .. im hoping second season will break that wall ..

well im waiting for next season ... hoping the (b) romance is more omnipresent !!

quick .. thrilling .. twists .. very avg romance .. can binge within an hour or two .. not a bad one .. not a BL classic either ..

not an easy watch .. its a slow burn .. slowly increasing intensity .. lot of questioning self doubt hesitations .. to the point it makes you squirm a bit ..
the show was fine to watch .. not cute .. but is an experience nevertheless .. i dunno i felt some pieces either i dint buy into them or just feels like an odd fitting piece .. i dunno i felt gemini and fourth were a bit out of depth .. like their chemistry n all was fine but for the story n characters and the complex arcs and emotions they go through .. i dunno it just dint shine as much as i thought it would .. they did the best they could but it just dint hit home for me .. fourth did a fine job tbh .. especially with the whole scared piece .. that emotion translated well .. but just that .. the whole conflict with himself and his spiritual self .. and this new love .. i was left a bit wanting for more ..
i dunno if its a unpopular opinion .. but am i too wrong to think .. that maybe gemini n fourth need to explore other co-stars and pairing ..
