The writers are joking with me. The ML showed zero signs and zero emotions that he liked the FL even a little. He screamed at her multiple times like a crybaby, saying he wanted his life back. If she switched his life back, he would leave the FL instantly and return to the UK.
There were no signs of respect or liking toward the FL at all. Then suddenly at the end of episode 4, he starts falling in love with her just because he watched her sleep. It makes no sense when there was no chemistry before. He purely hated her and it felt like he is using her until he gets his rich life back but now watching her sleep, totally changed his mind of course... amazing writing!
Besides, the ML is a complete mess as a character. He stares all the time like his mind is empty. He is supposed to be 28 but acts like he is 14. He always has that confused poker face, and it annoys me so much. Personality and smartness wise, there are zero wow factors about his character.
The FL is also a mess. She is supposed to dislike humans and has lived on earth for centuries, but only now she suddenly shows tolerance toward a guy with an IQ under 50 just because she might like him. Imagine losing your powers for that. She is not even that smart despite being alive for so long.
The pacing of the story is really bad. Half of the drama takes place at the airport. The other half is about useless evil characters that I end up skipping anyway.
There are zero characteristics of both the leads that are interesting, besides of course their looks. That's also why the character of the ML is so tolerated because it's fucking Lomon. If the FL was so dumb like his character, the already low rating would be way lower.
When I look at the ratings I seriously think damn this is well deserved. I never rate dramas but this one is really stopping my patience. I'm out, have fun enjoying this drama. To me, the characters ruined it. The story progress as well. The zero chemistry as well. What's left? Nothing. The whole drama is a mess.
