Yue Jinzhao (Played By Xu Kai) is a clever guy with a mysterious origin. He is brave, caring and with a will to protect the mankind.
Yue Qi (Played by Esther Yu) is a mythical beast from Yu Clan but raised in Heng-Tao sect by Bian Luohuan. She has a childlike attitude and thoughts, but she is not foolish. She is strong, powerful who values friendship and relationship.
I think this is my first drama that based on games so I will review it purely based on the story only. Honestly, I am very reluctant to finish this drama. Maybe because it is not my kind of drama. I can honestly feel why some viewers dropped this drama because it was childish for them and sometimes, I also feel the same. I am a big fan of Esther that is why I tried to understand and finish this drama. Some of the viewers find Esther's voice and character to be irritating maybe because she is playing a 13 to 16 years old character. I am used to Esther’s baby voice so its fine for me.
The story line is okay. I can feel the undying love of Jinzhao for Qi and Qi’s love for Jinzhao. Love the friendship of the 6 of them. They are always supporting each other even its not related to them but because of their love for their friendship they are always willing to go anywhere together and fight. Luo Li Ming stands out for me because even he is bad, he did everything for Luo Zhao Yan – to keep her alive. His love and affection for her is not just because they are both from LUO clan. He really loves her and care for her because she is someone who is willing to die with him and protect him every time. I even like story of Bian Luo Huan and Qi. It is short and sweet but deep. I thinks I like the later episodes more because the storyline is becoming serious. One thing is I don’t understand the ending. I thought Qi is dead because she used her life bring back Jinzhao but why is she even there? How did it happen?
Overall, I will rate it as 8/10 because Xu Kai did a great job portraying both Jinzhao and Luohan who have opposite characters. Esther is always adorable. Great second leads too! Xu Kai and Esther Yu has great chemistry. I wish I can see them again both in different drama/story maybe a bit matured romantic comedy drama because the I just love the chemistry of Luohan and Qi!

I can't believe that I finally found my extended family.. My Gong Family!!!
"The blade of the GONG FAMILY never points inward but outwards." -- Gong Shang Jue
This is one of the best Wuxia drama that I've watched so far.. The storyline is amazing.. You will be hooked in every episodes and it always have a cliffhanger.. It is so intriguing that you want to finished the drama in one sitting.. I purposely stopped watching it in the middle of the broadcast and waited for it to be completed because I couldn't stand the 24 hours waiting time..
I am a sucker of a rom-com with happy ending drama and this drama doesn't have much of it but still it one of the best for me.. It didn't give me a tragic/ heartbreaking ending but an open ending.. It didn't just focus on the couples but on the family as well..
The cast are superb.. The action scenes are amazing that I kept repeating it..
I hope there will be a season 2 because there's a lot of mystery around Gong Family that it is not answered..
It is too sweet for me that it makes me cringe.
*** Spoiler Alert (PERSONAL FEEDBACK)Title : When I Fly Towards You - 2023 (Complete 24 Episode)
Personal Rating : 7.5/10
It is too sweet for me that it makes me cringe but still it’s a good, youthful, and full of positivity drama with a happy ending. 😅
It’s a classic high school youth drama which begins in high school and continues into adulthood. Su Zai Zai is a cute, talkative, and straight forward girl who falls for the genius, aloof and introvert Zhang Lu Rang. They fall in love and get married.
Honestly, I watched this drama because they have the same writer of Hidden Love. Personally, I didn’t enjoy it that much because I have high expectations from it.
There are lot of scenes that are cute and sweet but sometimes it’s too much for me that it makes me cringe specially when I hear the word “Rang-Rang”.
I like their friendship though, the heartwarming relationship between the grandma and Guan Fang and the 2nd couple because they have a nice story line. The 2nd couple have love - hate relationship and one-sided love which is so natural. I feel that the 1st couple story is cute, sweet but flat. The only problem they have is the pressure of ML’s mother. No second lead or jealousy to make things spice up.
Overall, it is not my cup of tea. It is a good drama – classic, but maybe because my preference has changed a lot that this one doesn’t suit me. I watched A Love So Beautiful which almost has the same plot of running after their crushes or first love, but ALSB didn’t make me cringe. And I made a mistake of watching the intros that it almost spills the whole story of the drama.

DESTINED from reel to real! ?- ?
DESTINED from reel to real! 🎥- 🤎Gu Jiu Si (Played by Bai Jin Ting) who have a bad reputation -- a playboy, lazy, ignorant -- and the son of the wealthiest family in Yangzhou City.
Li Yu Ru (Played by Song Yi) is smart, elegant, and hardworking happen to meet and slightly offended Gu Jiu Si, because of that he planned a little revenge and announce (as a joke) to everyone that he will marry her.
Gu Jiu Si parents seize this opportunity to let him get married to her to avoid the marriage from the Princess who happens to be after their money.
The couple got married and planned to divorce when they found someone they truly love. But a lot of things happened and soon they slowly trust and fall for each other.
Honestly, I wanted to drop the drama towards the second half as it got more into court /palace drama, schemings and less about the main lead's love story, but I didn’t. I push it through because of BAI JIN TING. 😁
Since I’ve seen the New Life Begins before this drama, the chemistry of the FL & ML here is so-so for me. Bai Jin Ting is one of my favorite actors and I’ve watched most of his drama. He can pull any characters perfectly. This is my first drama of Song Yi so I can’t say much about her and from this drama I don’t think I will watch her other dramas.
Overall, it is okay for me and even though it’s a happy ending it is not my cup of tea. The episodes have ups and downs, there were episodes that are not interesting for me. Don't expect a heart fluttering story. I am not a fan of palace drama full of conniving officials, it gives me additional stress! Hahaha. 😂😅 This drama is for fans of political conflict, scheming, fighting, revenge and so on.

“Those who have dreams are forever young.” – Su ChengThis is a light romantic comedy drama mixed with an E SPORT.
Han Shang Yan/Gun (played by Li Xian) is a computer genius, a high-cold e-sports idol. Han is a legend in the e-sports world. He was main member of the Solo team. After leaving the SOLO team, he established the K & K club. His dream is to take the club's young players to attack the world champion of cybersecurity CTF competitions.
Tong Nian (played by yang Zi) is a talented computer science major. She is optimistic, cheerful, soft, and cute. She attends the youth class at university and has the same high IQ as the male lead Han Shang Yan. After she falls in love with Han Shang Yan at first sight, she chooses to take the initiative to pursue a relationship with him.
This is my first drama for both Leads. I watched this drama because of Hu Yitian and found that he has less screen time and little lines. I’m not a fan of Tong Nian's character here. She is almost like a stalker, an obsessed girl who is blindly in love with a handsome guy, and immature. It was too cringy for me.
The plot is okay for me because it didn’t just focus on one thing but a lot of things like friendship, family, dreams, and love.
The chemistry of the leads are okay. Not best but okay. There are few episodes that are cute, sweet and give you butterfly in your stomach but that's it. It didn't give me the urge to crave for another drama with them together again. ( I saw they will have a new drama together maybe in that one there chemistry will be superb. )
The friendship of the solo team is one of the best for me. They are not just friends, they are family! They may have ups and downs, arguments, and misunderstandings but at the end of the day they will still support each other as always.
Overall, the drama was okay for me for the first few episodes but dragged down towards the end. The story can be fit into 24 episodes, so it won’t be boring and repetitive.

This drama is one of the best rom-com for me... It is a fresh, light-hearted, and pure drama... Most of the episodes will give you a good laugh because of their families (specially Xiao Tu's Dad) and butterflies on your stomach because of the ML… I like how the ML & FL always protect each other and the ML have a lot of patience for the FL.. 😁💕
The casting was great from the main leads to the support family... The FL & ML chemistry is so perfect that will make you ask for another drama by both... The story didn’t just focus on romantic love, but also familial love and friendship...

I love Xiao Zhan since The Untamed but this drama is …..😑The Longest promise is one of my most awaited drama since I like Xiao Zhan.. and it’s a bit a let down for me.. Xiao Zhan and the FL doesn’t have a chemistry.. the character of the FL was so childish, brat and a bit dumb and that it irritates me but I still kept on watching it since it is Xiao Zhan’s drama.. the FL needs to be saved every freaking time.. the few last episodes are okay since the FL become matured but the ending is a bit sad.. and I hate sad endings..😅

Jiang Mu as a character didn’t fully work for me — she just wasn’t my cup of tea.
"She chose his career path, and he chose to make her dream come true."ML: Jin Zhao / “Brandy” / You Jiu / Tou Qi – He Yu
FL: Jiang Mu – Esther Yu
To be honest, I was initially hooked on this drama and had high expectations, especially since Esther Yu is the female lead. As a fan of Esther, I always look forward to her projects. However, Jiang Mu as a character didn’t fully work for me — she just wasn’t my cup of tea.
Some viewers found the story uncomfortable and labeled it as incest or grooming. Personally, I don’t fully agree. Jin Zhao and Jiang Mu were separated when they were young and had no contact for around 10 years. Jiang Mu’s mother deliberately kept them apart during their teenage years, knowing they weren’t real siblings. Jiang Mu only learned the truth when she was 19, which led her to reconnect with Jin Zhao in Thailand. By then, they were already adults.
The storyline itself was okay — not outstanding, but not bad either. They were raised together from Jiang Mu’s infancy until she was around 9 years old, then separated. They reunited when she was 19, fell in love, broke up when she was 20, and later met again in their mid-20s. They eventually got back together, married, and built a life together.
I feel this drama is more suited for a younger audience. It leans heavily on the idea of falling in love with someone you grew up with — someone you trust, feel safe with, and believe will stay by your side for life.
Jiang Mu’s devotion to Jin Zhao was honestly 10/10. She was very straightforward and expressive about her love, but at times it became overwhelming. One scene that really bothered me was in Episode 25, when she confessed again and asked him if he would be okay with her marrying an abusive man — someone who would take her money and hurt her. She implied that if Jin Zhao let her go, he would be gambling with her future. That moment felt emotionally manipulative and unnecessary.
Overall, Speed and Love deserves an 8.5/10 from me. It’s a decent watch, and the chemistry between He Yu and Esther Yu was on another level — the eye contact, physical closeness, and kissing scenes were all top-tier. My main issue was simply that Jiang Mu’s clinginess was a bit too much for my taste.

💕My thoughts:
Honestly, I watched this after Pursuit of Jade and The Prisoner of Beauty because I kept seeing so many recommendations saying this drama was great. And yes, it is great—but unfortunately, it's just not my cup of tea. 😅
The palace politics, betrayals, and conflicts between the kingdoms were too much for me. It felt like heartbreak after heartbreak, and honestly… it was stressful! 😂
To be completely honest, I kept delaying watching it. I would start watching, then stop, then come back to it again. 😅
Initially, I was really hooked because of the enemies-to-lovers theme. But as I continued watching, I realized how serious and heavy the story was.🫣😔💔
I watch dramas to de-stress, not to be stressed! 😂😁
I love strong characters—whether it's the FL, ML, or both—but this drama was just a little too serious for my taste. I kept wishing there were more cute, fluffy, funny, or sweet moments between the leads. 🥹 This one definitely has a more mature and intense romance rather than the fluffy kind that I usually enjoy. 😅
💕Overall:
Fated Hearts earns an 8.5/10 from me. ⭐️
It's a well-made drama with an intense historical romance, action, mystery, and political intrigue. The FL and ML were both great, and I really loved their acting! ❤️
This is actually my first Chen Zheyuan drama where I've seen him take on such an angsty role. I only knew him from Hidden Love, so I honestly didn't expect him to act like this! He did it so well! 😍
I also really loved the last part, especially the Emperor of Jinxiu falling in love with the Princess of Susha. ❤️🥹
I'm glad it has a happy ending for both the ML and FL. ❤️

Title: Love In The Clouds (2025)
Status: Completed – 36 Episodes
ML: Ji Bo Zai (a warrior of Jixing Abyss with a criminal past) – played by Hou Minghao
FL: Ming Yi / Ming Xian (the God of War from Yaoguang Mountain) – played by Lu Yuxiao
This is actually my first completed drama of Hou Minghao. I previously tried watching Back From the Brink but ended up dropping it. It's also my second drama of Lu Yuxiao after My Journey to You.
I can safely say this drama is worth finishing if you're looking for a light fantasy romance. I honestly planned to drop it in the beginning because of the cringe moments and the continuous lies. 😂 But the story really picked up around Episode 13, and that's when it became much more interesting and had some good twists.
The story revolves around the Qingyun Tournament, where the winner receives the Blessed Rain that brings prosperity to their realm. Ming Yi, who had won the tournament for seven consecutive years, is finally defeated by Ji Bo Zai. During the tournament, she is poisoned by Heavenly Grief, causing her spiritual vein to break. Believing Ji Bo Zai poisoned her, she disguises herself as a fairy attendant from Moonlit Blossoms to get close to him and find the antidote.
🖤 What fell short for me:
1. The first half of the drama was just okay—not bad, but not particularly engaging.
2 . The FL was cute and sweet, but at times she became a little annoying because of her fake persona. I know she was pretending for a reason, but I wish they had toned it down so we could have seen more genuine interactions and conversations between the leads.
3. Some episodes felt slow, especially the Nether Beast episodes which dragged on longer than necessary.
4. There were too many side characters that didn't really add much to the story.
5. Mu Qi Bai (the first main villain) had way too much screen time—it honestly became irritating.
6. It even felt like the supporting characters had more total screen time than the main couple.
7. The FL kept lying even after the ML had already been sincere with her, and that became frustrating to watch.
❤️ What I loved:
1. The chemistry between the leads was good.
2. Master She, Granny Xun, and the companion beast completely stole every scene they were in. They were funny, adorable, and made the drama much more enjoyable.
3. The drama has a satisfying happy ending.
4. Hou Minghao is so handsome. 😍
Overall: Love In The Clouds earns an 8.5/10 from me. It's a decent fantasy romance with a slow start, but it gets much better in the second half of the drama. I just wish the FL's performance had been more convincing and emotionally expressive, as stronger emotional delivery would have made the scenes more impactful. The ML also did well, but I wish he had shown a bit more intensity and anger in certain scenes. His naturally sweet and cute face sometimes made it difficult to fully convey the fiercer side of his character. 😅

Xu Kai’s handsomeness is on another level here!
Personal Rating: ⭐️ 8.5/10ML: Mei Zhu Yu (Demon Hunter / Exorcist) – Xu Kai
FL: Wu Zhen (Cat Lord of Demon City) – Tian Xi Wei
As a fan of Tian Xiwei, I was really excited for this drama. Like always, she delivered—her performance was charming, lively, and full of personality. But honestly, even with great actors and strong characters, the story itself felt a bit lacking at times.
Initially, I was very hooked on this drama, but I don’t know why it felt like something was missing—or maybe my expectations were just too high. The characters are great! A badass girl who is the Cat Lord of the Demon City, and a handsome demon exorcist who never thought about getting married or falling in love.
The story revolves around a demon exorcist who works in the Investigation Bureau (he keeps his exorcist identity hidden). He wants to uncover the truth about the heavenly fire that destroyed the city and killed his father. While investigating what really happened and discovering that demons were involved, he meets Wu Zhen, the princess of Chang’an, who secretly has another identity—a half-demon Cat Lord who rules the Demon City. This city is the mortal enemy of Chanxi Palace, where Mei Zhu Yu grew up and was trained.
While working on different cases and investigating demons roaming around the city, they fall in love. However, since they are supposed to be enemies and both have duties to protect their respective sides, it becomes difficult for them to accept their feelings and figure out how to handle them.
What fell short for me:
There are some episodes that feel dragging. The plot didn’t fully deliver on its potential. The ending was a bit confusing and felt rushed… How did he survive? Did he become a cat because his father is a cat? 😅 I honestly expected more clarity and impact.
The fight scenes are okay! There’s one scene where Wu Zhen fights Mei Zhu Yu when he tries to break the barrier and enter the Demon City—that fight was very satisfying. 😁 The CGI is great, and the chemistry between them is overwhelming! I really hope they get another drama together with a better story. 😍
Xu Kai’s handsomeness is on another level here—this might be the most handsome character he has played for me. And Tian Xiwei is so cute 😍 I think this is one of her best characters—the Cat Lord. 🐱
Overall, Moonlit Reunion is an 8.5/10 for me. It’s a decent watch with amazing chemistry and strong characters with a happy ending.. I would LOVE to see Xu Kai and Tian Xiwei reunite in another drama with a stronger storyline. Their pairing deserves something even better! 🥹✨
Bonus: I got a new crush on Wu Jun Ting—he’s so cute!! 😍😍😍
If you want to see Tian Xiwei and Xu Kai on a variety/game show, you can watch Hello Saturday. They were promoting their drama there, and they were so sweet and cute! 🥰
Superb Fighting Scenes!
Superb Fighting Scenes!Normally, before I make my own review and feedback after finishing a drama, I read some reviews first to see if I’m on the same page as other viewers. But when I checked the reviews for this drama, a lot of people were disappointed. Some even rated it 4 or 5/10. Maybe it’s because I didn’t read the novel, so I’m not sure if the adaptation gave justice to the original story.
The story is about a girl forced to pretend to be a boy/heir in a family that wants to earn merit and rise in status. She later joins the army, gains achievements, and becomes known as General Feihong. But things change when the real son/heir of the family returns.
The drama itself is good. At first, I was taken aback by how she disguised as a man, but her actions toward her commander were different — she did some cute, sweet stuff. If you look at it from the POV of one man to another, it’s a bit awkward! 😵💫 But once he found out she was actually a girl, it made sense. 😅😆
The story isn’t that deep — it’s easy to follow. There isn’t much power struggle, but there are twist after twist after twist. 😆 I thought my favorite character would be Chu Zhao. Yes, he was just a pawn of the main villain, but he managed to get out of it. I thought he would turn out okay, but then he got obsessed with his ambition and with He Yan… so he became bad again! 😂😂😂 Another character that stressed me out was the emperor. Like, what the heck? He wasn’t ruthless like other emperors, but he was so easily manipulated — that’s a big no-no! 😂😂😂
For me, this drama deserves an 8.5/10. It’s okay overall — the chemistry between the ML and FL was good, and the fighting scenes were superb. The second leads were just so-so. Honestly, without the amazing action scenes, this drama would feel flat.
But I love that it shows: even if you’re a woman, if you have the dedication to pursue what you want, you can achieve it — even if it goes against the norms of your generation or the law. Laws and traditions can change as long as you stand for what’s right and just. Gender doesn’t matter. And most of all… it had a happy ending! 😉☺️
GENRE: Costume, Romance, Comedy, Friendship, War, Battle, Woman Empowerment.
It’s a heavy romance (bit cringy for me) with happy ending..

Known by the web name "Yi Xiao Nai He", he is a famous figure and top player in the game A Chinese Ghost Story. In real life, Xiao Nai is also the most popular guy on campus.
Bei Wei Wei / Lu Wei Wei Wei (played by Zheng Shuang) A 2nd-year computer science student, who is considered the "belle" of the computer science major. Known by the alias "Lu Wei Wei Wei" in A Chinese Ghost Story, she is the only female player in the Top 10 PK ranking. She catches Xiao Nai's attention unintentionally as she is playing the game in an internet cafe.
This drama is about a ML falling in love with the FL at first sight while playing an online game (both played the same game). ML pursues her in the game and eventually in real life. This drama is light. It’s a typical school drama where there is always a mean girls and popular handsome ML. It’s a light drama but heavy on romance.
I watched this because at that time it was very popular, and I need to break from kdrama land. At first, I was stunned by how the story goes because they are also part of the online games which they don’t have in kdrama so it was very funny and new for me.

Ryan Ding / Ding Yuxi as Demon King is ❤️🐱
Love You Seven Times is a Chinese Xianxia drama about the love story between the God of War and a Fairy with seven interconnected and parallel lives together.
I love every tribulations they been through.. and my favorite is the THIRD TRIBULATION -- ShengLing Sect --. I love how she cant live without Chu Kong even without her memories of heavenly realm and love the friendship of the 4 of them in this Sect.
Every tribulation is satisfying and Ryan Ding gave a top notch performance on this. He embodied the different characters in different tribulations. This is the first time I watch the FL Yang Chaoyue so I can't say much about her but her acting skills here are okay to me unlike the ones that I read that she is not good in acting.
Honestly, I watched this because I like Ryan Ding from Romance of Tiger and Rose and this drama show another great acting of Ryan Ding, his acting here is way more better than ROTR. 😍
Overall, LYSV on is on my re-watched list. I think I watched this more than 3 times already. 😁 It is a romantic comedy with happy ending.
