I watched it when it was released as well. Such an emotional journey. I was also shocked and sad to hear about Beam. I've watched him in shows like Project S: Spike and The Stranded, he was such a good actor.
I'm more depressed that since past week MSP, The Warp Effect, NLMG, My Beautiful Man S2, MLC has ended and this coming Sunday Project Alpha is also ending 😩

Till the very end I thought the dynamics between Alan and Wen was just too strong. Story wise, ofc they've moved on, but the fact that whenever they locked eyes, something in them radiated such strong connection between them, it feels electrifying. I'm amazed how both, First and Mix are so expressive with their eyes alone. They were truly outstanding!
His naturalistic portrayal of a deaf character in Moonlight Chicken really amazed me. The way he could convey his emotions just through his eyes alone and with the use of sign language felt so realistic. He's very young and so talented. And this was just his debut role! He deserves all the praise. I'm rooting for him!!
Fourth was phenomenal in Moonlight Chicken. His acting here was even better than in MSP. Perhaps it's because of the character dynamics, but yooo, he's such a great actor!!! It's absolutely a delight watching him on screen everytime.
"We shouldn't become the adults we hate." I think this is a note to all the elders who still fear about what the society will think rather than what they truly feel and how much they are willing to support their children. I loved that Jim was thoughtful regarding Li Ming and he could understand his views. He indeed talked through his experiences. His interaction with his sister was quite nice. When he said, "whatever mistakes he's making, he has me to give advice." That was heartwarming. He's indeed the biggest support system in Li Ming's life. Loved how they both grew and matured throughout the series.
For me, they had the best relationship development in this show.
