I love how we're all curious about Per x Tar relationship. They're such cute goofballs. The build up of their storyline has been great so far and now I really hope they get a sensible ending.
P'Aof: Right now, I have several projects in the works. As I mentioned during the Line press conference, we're working on "Ticket to Heaven" with Nong GeminiFourth. We're in the midst of intense preparations. When I say "soon," people often wonder when that is, but we're actively working on it. Physically, the project has progressed significantly. Each concert (of them) we attend shows growth, and sometimes I feel like saying, "Hey, don't grow up too fast, you still need to play a student role. 🥹" But I believe that once they get into character, everything will align, and the performance will suit the character perfectly.
Q: How do you determine who fits a particular role?
P'Aof: The process starts with understanding the character. As a director, I envision who fits the role based on the script or novel. We consider who in GMMTV might be suitable. We also look at opportunities, compatibility, and each actor's yearly schedule. Most importantly, we discuss with the actors to see if they resonate with the role. Some might decline if they don't feel connected, and that's okay; we can collaborate in the future. At GMMTV, actors have the freedom to choose roles. They need to see themselves in the character and feel confident in portraying it.
Q: Can we expect something new from this project?
P'Aof: Yes, people can anticipate and look forward to it. The characters are quite intense, but I believe both actors will deliver.
