Slaughtering ceremony is literally a part of tradition in every village. Even at my village they slaughter Goat as an offering to the gods. It's not exactly murder. It's their culture. You may be not aware of the culture of Thai people, but it's exactly what's shown in the show. The countryside people, be in any country raise some animals so that they become their food one day and it's true. It's all about following the tradition and also make up for living.
