I am getting a weird theory
The current year is 2021.. Her daughter is at high school so her age will be 18...So she was born on the Year 2003...

ML & FL fall in love at the age of 25, 21.. So the year must be 2001.. I am thinking there is a chance ML might have died due to suicide becoz of his financial crisis and everything at same time FL was Pregnant.... ML died without knowing he was going to become a father...

Still didn't get why surname was Kim... May be she doesn't want Baek as her daughter surname.. So she randomly picked a Surname... 😁...

Main Possibility....

FL & ML Fall in love at the age 2521... They might have gone through a painful breakup & didn't end together....
She married another person & have daughter... But she is currently divorced,,, She met ML again at the end...

This is only ending i am getting now..

Otherwise there will be twist.. The kid will be someone else's... Go yu rim's kid might be kim min chae.. Yu rim might have died.....
