There are too many imaginative aspects of this drama, but I am staying for the main love story. I really wish they made it simpler, just filmed it in China, in small village or whatever. To think that some doctors and random females travelled so far to unknown place, got involved in ‘mafia’ trading, got a job without visa (FL’s friend), didn’t manage to bring clothes but somehow wearing full makeup the next day…I just can’t deal with my OCDs 😂 If not for LYX, I would not be this patient…so for now, I am gonna ignore the fact that the set is in Lacaya, and once they are back to China, I will try to forget there have ever been scenes in Lacaya 😂 They can still make this drama great with the main theme without having to have scenes abroad…
I see there are only a few casts posted in MDL. And the other top two female support roles not even there yet in first 4 episodes…So, we should expect some kind of evil female characters later on?

I can accept the dubbing, I mean, I don’t expect them to speak French fluently for sure. But the foreigners, arghh…I remember watching the one with Li Qin, didn’t finish, some kind of war drama, and the foreigners there seriously put zero effort to act! And in this drama, look at Sakun’s mother!!! She didn’t even try!!! So annoying!
Every time we have c drama that involved foreigners, it always annoys me that the foreigners’ acting were so crappy. Almost felt like they randomly picked foreigners on the street and paid them wontons to act in the dramas 😒 Nevertheless, ML looks stunning! And his acting is no question ☺️
