Oh really? Gosh, every single thing the guys do are political! except for Dengwei who is all lovey dovey and do things based on his obssessed love for FL. the rest are all politicals!
I don’t really like political theme especially for historical c drama, because it is so complicated and most of the time we need to understand how it worked in the past (which is not so relevant now)….but LYF really got me…

I have only watched first 3 episodes, ok so far…although of course there are some ‘too imaginary’ scenes…
Oh, I am obsessed with LYF, still 1 more episode to go and I don’t know if season 2 is coming or not :(
But, for me, LYF is the most complex political story I have ever watched, and the whole atmosphere and acting really draw me into it so deeply, especially the ML. I mean, I always like YZ and always focus on her in her dramas, but this is the first time I actually focus more on ML and his political journey (and I am not even a fan of political story), and even more surprising for me since I don’t know the actor 😂. So, I feel that my attraction is pure on the character, not even a single factor contributed by the actor.
(I mean, if LYX played this character, I admit maybe my attraction mostly was affected by him as the actor)…
