Would you watch a second season with different cast? I just hope Youko won’t try to make a cheap second season…
Even if Youku wants to do it, I doubt any actors would take the role...they will be bashed knowing LYX-BL pair is too iconic...no actor is gonna risk it...

Best comment ever! I think in majority, drama watchers tend to see HE as main couple get together, regardless of other aspects. However, in here, we know LSS cares about the world. TTJ initially didn’t, but he loves LSS so much that he knows LSS loves this world and therefor he wants to protect the world too. Their wishes come true, so this is HE for their definition. We, viewers, may want different story for them because we have observed their journey and suffering. But well, TTJ and LSS are the one living in this ‘drama’, so if this is HE for them, let them have it this way…seeing TTJ’s peaceful smile at the end is so deep for me :)

Exactly, doesn’t match with the reviews and even the atmosphere of the comment section for the past 1.5 months… But anyway, saw similar trend for many other great dramas too, so doesn’t matter :) Plus I just saw the post about achievement Youku got from this, so that one is more real!
This is basically Love and Redemption 2.0. The whole purpose of a drama like this is to create the next big star…

Why do you think Tencent cast LYX for CWN in Immortality, the drama that has huge fan base (even in MDL it has 85k while the drama has not even aired)...and CWN is an iconic role?
The ones bringing the rating down is not real viewers guys. If you notice, most viewers are ready to rate this 10 if the ending is as what they wanted. So, worst, they rated this down to 9 or 9.5. And if you randomly read the reviews or check each episode's rating, mostly rated above 9. The ones bringing this down are antis, haters; those fresh accounts newly created just to rate this 1 and put status 'completed'...which is always the case for any popular drama in mdl... If you finish watching, change your status to completed so your rating can be counted.
