I am excited for SPL for no reason to be honest, hahaha...but I always have a feeling that it will be a great show. My biggest problem is time and commitment. I feel like I have very limited time, and when I have free time...it seems hard to commit to writing...haha.
Yes, I do think about a main story like, like I know what the main characters I want to write, and what their conflicts and endings...and yes, sometimes I got inspiration on a specific scene and wrote it down... But the main reason why I haven't started at all...because I don't know how to begin...I don't know how to build the characters from scratch... I have only main plot, main circle of characters...and still confused on the supporting characters and how to connect... Maybe I should try like you mentioned, if I get a vivid inspiration of a specific scene, maybe I should just try to write about that specific scene...maybe after a while, I will have a few specific scenes and slowly build the beginning of the development...

Yeah...true, but also because I read too many things about it already that even before starting, the whole drama already seen as 'sad' to my mind. I basically felt the most sad during mother-daughter separation...also when they met again in later episodes...initially I thought her mother would be annoying, typical mother who would sacrifice her kids for position etc...I am glad she is not!

I read somewhere in twitter post that it received the 2nd round approval.. And you remember when somebody talked about Priest's novels being re-edited and so to anticipate attention after LA? I kinda feel they are preparing for the LA to air...
Well, Tencent is known to keep good dramas too long (look at what happened to Immortality and The Oath of Love), while Youku has horrible English subs 😂…between the two, I probably still prefer Tencent hoping they learnt from what happened to Immortality and Oath of Love to not shelve this drama!
