How did I end up in danmei? Well, meatbun! Haha, 2ha was my very first chinese novel, my very first danmei. And having exposed to 2ha plot, I don’t think any western plot will satisfy me anymore. I read TGCF after 2ha, so it was a totally different experience. I read TGCF pretty slow, enjoying each of the key moments, and it was quite sweet and relaxing. One thing for sure, I read many western novels in the past, and I moved from 1 novel to another. But with 2ha, it took me a few months before I could start TGCF. I mean, the whole story, the characters really stick to my heart. And now is around 1 week or so after I finished TGCF, and same, the story still lingers and makes me reluctant to move on to a new novel. This kind of after-reading experience was never there for me with other novels. Oh, I haven’t downloaded WuChang Jie, let me add that! Thanks!
