yes, exactly! it doesnt make sense! and in her phone call at the end, she says “our son”…..so if he is a step-dad, then how long have they been married? it had to be AFTER she lost so woo because she tells so woo as a kid that his parents are both korean and this is why she is bringing him toSK to the camp so he can learn about his Korean roots - but then she says later to him as an adult that his name was kimura and he even tells the man that finds him as a kid that his name is Kimura So Woo - soooo this is not making sense at all - unless his bio dad is Japanese/Korean and died just before or right after she lost so woo and she “married Pi Su Il later - which means if she did, it isnt a legal marriage if heeas already marriend to Man Eun. we dont have enough episodes for all of this to play out satisfactorily imo. thiswas a wrench thrown into the spokes of a wheel that was turning easily and now the story is going off the rails - if we had at least 125+ eps they could do a great story but i have a feeling we are going to be left with a lot of unanswered questions.

i like to go there and read what the south koreans post about this drama - you have to translate their posta but they all say the same thing we are saying here. 😂

eps 15/16 is when she realizes Nam Jin is having an affair but she doesnt know who the other woman is. She wont find that out until episode 23

well it becomes a problem when it involves family registry - which i dont think they really do much anymore? but if you are registered to the same family , you can be considered real family - so to get around it it required being removed from the registry - which seon ju can do if she is jung bae’s bio daughter - she can move in with him and be on his registry and then marry so woo.

but here is my question that everyone is overlooking……if Pi Su Il is so woo’s dad, then why did his mom say his last name was Kimura? i kept wondering about that when she said it because she told So woo when she took him to korea that both his parents were Korean but Kimura was not a South Korean surname - and now we find out Pi Su Il is his dad so his last name is actually Pi? this is not making any sense?

but we know jin ju is about 39 - so is probably around same age i would guess - maybe even a bit younger ? i am thinking man eun may be the legal wife……🤷🏼‍♀️

i am thinking this all took place at the same time - soo woo’s visit to Korea, the car accident, so woo getting lost, seol hee going into labor, giving birth, and dying, soon ae switching the babies, pi su ill being “killed” by squinters and soon ae helping……so looks like jin ju and so woo are gonna be half-siblings…..

or maybe so woo’s mother is the mistress …….

i am thinking this all went down during their visit to Korea 30+ years ago when So Woo was lost - the car accident, seon ju being switched - pi su il being “killed” - this is most likely the reason why so woo’s mom didnt get the chance to look for so woo - with PSI being hurt badly, he was probably hospitalized for a long time - maybe he was also in a coma so she had to stay with him? would explain why she didnt actively search for him as much as we think she should have. maybe he had some memory loss too - but it also begs the question - who is the legal wife?

i think she gracefully backed off though. she seemed to respect his wishes - but their story isnt over yet since his dad appears to be Man Eun;s “husband” and seon ju’s “dad”.
