so no memories that we know of of his parents but he remembers his name......and you would think police would check customs for someone entering the country with a child with that name and age?? I could poke holes in this storyline forever. Only thing i can think of is either the mom was in an accident and in the hospital for a long period of time (they did that in Unpredictable Family) and maybe in a coma and so they lost track of him OR the dad passed away suddenly and she had no choice but to return home and by the time she returned there was no trace - and we know she returned because she took pics with her nephews....unless her sister went to see her instead - but why wasnt the sister searching for her nephew? She had the means to do so - unless she never knew he was missing? too many questions. So far So Woo has not met actor's mom and brother that I recall, so maybe that will happen soon and trigger something.
Another thought - what if his mom is also a designer and will be a judge too........or maybe shows up at the competition as an investor....

if you ever watched Unpredictable Family - this is pretty much the same thing - mom couldn’t find her kids for 30 years even though they were in the phillipines with their dad and eventually returned to korea - i guess they were never added to a missing child database. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ and yes, we all mentioned social media on that drama too -

yeah as soon as she walked off i was like “take your son with you!” and what mom never looks back for her kids when she is feet from them? i always kept an eye on my son anytime he was out with me - kids at that age know no fear and would walk off in a heartbeat. i found it weird that he wouldnt have went over with her to see how cotton candy was made - most kids are intrigued by that.

well he did speak some korean because there was an exchange of korean between him and his mom - but maybe he didnt speak it fluently at that time?

very strange - maybe there is more to the backstory than we have got so far. i hope so because this makes no sense.

the fact that her dad told them both to be fair and not ruin the jin company name means she will be unfair and ruin the jin company name.

well to koreans, marrying in your 20s is considered marrying young - even if you are in your early 30s too. typically they dont even get married now until they are in their early 40s.

also, seems to me so woo was old enough to have some memory of his mother but all he remembers is being brought up in an orphanage. are there no missing kids reports filed that police stations and/or orphanages would not get? this whole thing with so woo makes no sense.

seems like So Woo’s parents had been living abroad and she was taking So Woo to a camp in Korea because she said he had Korean parents and needed to learn and talk Korean so maybe he didnt know much Korean - and she sounded like she was speaking a different language to him too - i noticed there were korean subtitles below the english - soi am winderingnif they lived in the Phillipines or something - i wasnt recognizing the language well. They usually only add korean subs when another language is being spoken besides korean - but still - why didnt she call the bus company and ask about him? and where was/is his father?

i don’t think jin ju is 50. 😂 probably late 30s to early 40s - and some woman can still get pregnant in their late 40s to early 50s. jin ju mentions at the beginning that she got married young and had a baby young - and her husband died young - which is why she “aged” in her looks. Don’t discount the “old” folks. 😂

I would imagine there would be a clause in their employ that states any designs done while employed by Jin would be their property. only thing they could do is change their design and resubmit?

if they studied like they work, they were probably too busy having sex instead of working hard - at least Sang Ah - NJ is the only one who won any awards - i think Sang Ah just went abroad to get away from her husband and child - she was already on the prowl for someone else.

I wonder how they can win now though - their submittal was done as Jin Architecture so if they win technically the design would be Jin's? Not sure how that works in design world. I hope there is a way for them to do it as SunWoo Interior (I did not notice the name change - good eye! 👍🏼)

He wouldn't even have to do that - he could just send someone straight in from the street to get a haircut and they could get access to Sun Interior. Too many ways that company she just started can be accessed. They all go in and out of the front and back areas all the time and it is left unlocked all night long on the back side - Look at how many times So Woo has come back late (even Mi Ju left through the back gate right after he came home) and it is unlocked.

except ML even saw how much she did and even admitted that she did more for the company than he realized - which brings me to - if the company knew ( and you know those in the upper management had to know) they were being bought - they would not still be hiring people. Typically companies put a freeze on hiring long before the sale goes through. It isnt as if the sale happened overnight. He got hired, they had a team dinner, and pretty much the next day/week they get bought out. Very unrealistic.

Let's be real - how many think this is actually ever going to air? When they wait years to film, people lose interest -

well i never understood why he got hired and then they fired FL - and expected her to train him - i was like "wth! So he was basically her replacement?"
