That makes sense. I had wondered why Song Weilong wasn’t in many good dramas lately. He started strong but then kind of faded and it’s been up and down with him. He is a good actor too so it’s a shame he isn’t utilized more - hope some of these actors get better roles because some of the more popular actors seem to be getting stale - I know Yang Yang is popular but his acting seems to be the same in every drama - to the point I have a hard time watching him anymore. So many good actors keep getting put into supporting roles when I know they could do well in main lead roles. Thanks for the information and I will read the article in the link you posted.

I've often wondered this too - seems like certain actors ALWAYS do historical while others do a mixture - do they get to pick or are they told what they must do? Do they have to do a quota of historical before they can do a modern setting? Or maybe I am overthinking it? LOL

LOL I am running as fast as I can now. I was waiting for this one to finish - couldnt bring myself to watch again after they stalled if for 2-3 weeks for the Olympics - I had stopped at episode 12 and never went back and picked it up. Glad I didnt now. I am going to watch Iron Family though. Do you plan to watch? How have you been???
