The Real Has Come - it was a weekend drama several months ago - the one before Live Your Own Life.

Ridiculous. Would love to see what skeletons are in the others closets that promote cancel culture. No one is perfect and cancel culture is toxic. Just stop already. I was looking forward to this but why waste my time now? SMH.

I’m gonna be popping in from time to time to see how it is fairing but not gonna watch right now. I need a break from a family daily drama while it is airing. 😂 between AOME and UF I think I am burned out for this round.

Makes me wonder what is going to happen to cause ML to change his name and how he and Do Ra lose with each other to the point that she won’t know who he is when she runs into him again. I am hoping it won’t have anything to do with his grandfather and her mom. After TRHC, this actress just grates on my nerves when I see her now. 😂 I just can’t get past how terrible she became in TrHC.

I just finished You Are the Best and I loved it. I highly recommend Once Again and Father is Strange - 2 of my favorites. I am going to be rewatching Once Again with friends starting next week so we will all be commenting over on that page.

It’s ok - 2 episodes a weekend isn’t bad. I’ve done this a few times. 😂 some like to wait for at least a month before watching so they can have at least 8 episodes to watch - tbh I love the daily and weekend family dramas.

I think she is his mom - question is, who is the dad? And who has the curly hair? Does mom have curly hair that she straightens? Or is the curly hair from dad? I’m betting on dad - so I’ll be looking for older men with curly hair as the drama progresses. 😂 unless dad loses his hair

I can see an 18 year old thinking he may be in love with an older woman but for her to be hanging around an 18 year old was a bit icky for me even though he would be considered a legal adult in many countries. But I kind of find it weird he hangs out with the young FL - doesn’t he have friends his own age? I get that he sees her as a baby sister but surely he has friends to hang out with besides her? Her brother is closer to his age so why aren’t they becoming friends? The age dynamics is just off in the younger actors scenes. If they were to show him with his own circle of high school friends - girls included - it wouldn’t be so bad but so far she seems to be the only one he has been hanging out with since his older GF dumped him. I’m guessing something big has to happen for him to change his name and they end up losing contact with each other for many years.

Finally watched ep 2. Funny. Young ML was cracking me up. The way he busted down that door. His character is definitely not your typical k-drama young ML.

Finished this one tonight - gave it 9.5. I loved it. The drama kept me engaged in the storylines the whole time. IU never fails to impress me with her angelic voice. Jo Jung Suk's chemistry with her was awesome.

i HIGHLY recommend you watch this drama! It is so good! One of my faves. I am actually rewatching this one again. Just started it again today.

I figure if a woman is dumb enough to offer money to leave her son its time to teach her a lesson so take and keep both. I am sure, in typical k- drama fashion, he hides who he is because he doesn't want favors and wants to learn from bottom up. Ive not seen the drama yet so i cant comment on why he hides his wealth.

Ive never cared for her anyway so i dont know if her career took a hit or not. I know after it all came out she went on a hiatus for a long time.

My understanding is she also caused him a lot of mental issues too. Classic abusive relationship symptoms from him. He probably thought she would just change over time. I cant blame him since he was a victim of her mental and emotional abuse. Who knows what else went on behind closed doors. Men rarely open up about being abused in a relationship.

His past scandal wasn't on him - it was his crazy GF at the time.

Well this is interesting. Never would have imagined he would be in a weekend drama. But for those who don't watch weekenders, they do get high ratings and the exposure is very good for an actor. So don't dismiss him as taking something that is less than popular - its a good thing imo. I think ratings will be very high with him starring . Lets just hope the writer is good because daily and weekend dramas can have terrible scripts.
