yes, exactly. so the contracts are fake but presented as real to YL Group. The money was put into an account for interior designs (or some kind of design) probably in a foreign country - but the designs were never completed because, of course, they were fake. basically they are embezzling funds, or were. no telling how much they took in over time. probably isnt the first time they did it. poor do hee saw the fake contract and it got her killed.

the sheer audacity of Suk Ja asking for “her” money back from Yun Hee is about more than i can take. i hope Yun Hee beats the living crap out of her with her broom.

He might have a longtime GF - we dont know much about the Korean celebrity's lives like we do Americans. They keep that stuff pretty private and I can't blame them.

um I’ve tied the tie of guys that I wasn’t married to before and trust me, there was no other meaning to it other than helping out. and when ML came up from the stairs-she waited because she said it herself that she knew he would take what he heard very hard and would likely hurt himself. any good friend would have done the same. Believe it or not - men and women CAN be good friends without there being anything sexual or romantic involved. We all saw the scene where she finally started to realize he has feelings for her and she quickly got up and made an excuse and left. she has distanced herself from him from that point on because she has 1 goal in mind - and when he confessed, she told him so. will they be a couple? Most likely. But she isn’t interested enough at this point to consider it.

I think it is showing the devolment of his mind. he is close to losing his grip on reality because of his family and Seri. his regret is rearing big time. he is gonna lose it soon. I’m just gonna sit back with my 🍿 and 🥤 and wait for it.

Seo Jun Young tends to be typecast as a nice guy. I can understand why with his killer smile but his roles are always (with the exception of The Promise? I have not seen it) very very passive for a ML. I don’t think I’ve seen him kiss a female yet in a drama but I’ve not watched all his stuff either.

They did have a connection and do have a connection - not saying they don't - but as good friends coming from her side - he is the one that fell for her first and has been drawn into her kindness and resilience. She has done more than his family has with the revenge against the Hwangs - but I am sure we are going to see the best saved for last - Do Hee's murderers coming to light. But this family, if you think about it, has basically just let JI do all the leg work for getting to the revenge for Do Hee. She has carried a lot on her shoulders - dating and love are the very last thing on her mind. And she is still grieving the loss of her son and father and dealing with her mom - not to mention she is still feeling very betrayed by GC's so-called love. If I were her, I would have trouble being in another relationship after all of that with him.

You never know, they might do a time jump in the last episode.

ok, you see it there, i dont. not gonna keep going back and forth over it. they will likely start dating at the last 5 minutes of the lasy episode anyway so you will have your romance at the end. 😂

ive rewatched many times. he is aware of her but she isnt of him, except as a friend she cares about. her mind has been in revenge mode from the beginning.

she wont have to worry about it if she isnt alive.

this was never a romance drama. and i dont percieve that she flirted around with him - she was still grieving her son and her father and trying to get her life back together after her aunt betrayed her. she didnt have time for love and quite frankly, why would she after what she went through?

any hand touching was all one-sided. hugs were comfor hugs after the death of her son. she has never really “seen” him the way he sees her. this drama is not a romance drama - it is purely revenge. they have not had a real “connection”. she is the one who has always been in danger and he is the ine who has fallen for her while looking after her. they could have had him injured and in the hospital so she could realize what he means to her but they have not gone there….yet.

he was a prosecutor though. my understanding is he didnt go to work for YL Group until after he married Jae In. He probably got a good position there because of his marriage to Jae In.

he was probably only pretending to be aslep and he will reach up and grab her arm. 😂
