At the audition, Eun-sung and Ju-ri compete for the same role... Seon-joo returns to work at the cafe and relaxes in front of Eun-ah.
Much to Eun-sung's annoyance, Joo-ri tries to stop Eun-sung from attending the audition...

That has always bugged me ever since she said she followed him to the Philippines. A lot of people assumed they married in Korea and left together - so how did she know where he was? Yep, the writers are probably going to leave a lot of loose ends in this drama.

Oh, I thought that was a job she wanted?

😂 I don’t remember it. I am getting too old.

Here is another thought I had.

Did JA never report her kids as missing? Seems she didn't because the minute the kids came back to Korea their ID numbers would have hit that missing persons database and sent an alert of some kind out to the police. They had to use those numbers to even get their jobs.

Talk about a twist. We all think SJ is the writer but we forget SW wrote this movie script - which make me not understand why he doesn't give SJ help with writing her scripts. I think she adores her big brother so much she just wants to be like him and maybe just doesn't have the talent at all for writing. Her future may lie elsewhere - running a coffee shop?

SW isn't just a director - he is a writer. I never really thought about that before. Also, I hope that jerk from his American job doesn't try to say that script belongs to his company if SW wrote it while working for him. I've seen that come up before in some dramas where they say if you wrote any part of something while at work then it is the property of said workplace.

All of these adult kids have very diverse jobs......none of them really imitate the other or parent.

I rewatched that whole scene between DG and JA again - mostly because I was trying to listen for the Christmas music - but I realized DG keeps saying Eun-A Oemma - he is acknowledging her as Eun A’s mom.

Yes, yes, and yes. You and I are in the same points with this drama.

The rushed engagement - is this SW’s way of really wanting to get out of his parent’s home because he is deeply upset with his mom? Is it something deeper than that - like maybe he knows something we don’t yet? I find the rush to get married a bit strange given ES has not even established herself as an actress yet.

And yeah, I figured JA would slap him too - I said I’d have kicked him in the shins had he grabbed me the way he did JA when they left the restaurant. And I was glad she told KS - but I noticed DG left that little tidbit out when he lied to CY about what actually happened. I think that will come back to bite him in the rear when KS confronts him about it later in front of CY - probably in front of everyone at the engagement meeting when tempers start flaring and words start flying.

I need to start paying more attention to background music. I totally do not even hear the Christmas music. 😂

Questions I keep thinking about -

If JA couldn’t find DG and the kids, how did CY know where he was? They obviously stayed in touch.

Is it possible CY knew JA was in the hospital?

Those letters DG wrote that JA never got - do you think they actually got mailed? It’s plausible DG gave them to CY to mail and she threw them away.

yep i want a good ending too but i have a feeling it will be rushed and then time skipped because of the amount of episodes they have wasted on HY and her delusion. Plus they took so long for ES and SW to get together then we have not seen much of them together as a couple - this is why is makes me hard to "feel" this engagement is right - it is a ploy by the writers to move the drama along to the families all meeting each other so the fall out can begin - because every single person is going to be affected by this engagement so it has to happen quickly now.

I think things were different for some of the older actors - no internet back then for people to make such a ruckus over their favorite actor or idol being in a relationship - people are just too crazy nowadays with that. and kowtowing to netizens makes me want to pull my hair out at times - they are allowing their lives to be dictated by fans. I say live your life!

he just angers me when he says thing s like "..it makes me hate you" - using the word hate when speaking about your kid is just wrong. I might dislike things my son does but i would never even think of saying i hated him - especially to his face like KS did to SJ.

The one thing this has shown is that despite all of the bantering and picking at each other that SW and SJ do - they do love each other and care about each other deeply - SJ said she only had one brother and she didn't want any other brother except SW. It might have sounded childish but to me it shows how much she loves her big brother. He's the only brother for her. BUT we know she likes EH - she has said she thinks EH is cute and when she finds out he is also her big brother i think she will come around quickly and accept him - it will be harder for her to accept EA. Those two will be like oil and water but i bet they will be besties by the ed of the drama.

not to mention how actors and actresses do not make their relationships public - nor get married early - they establish their careers and maintain a low profile for years - into their late 30s early 40s before marrying - so to have these two become engaged when she hasn't even established her career yet is just strange.

I honestly don’t think KS looked for those kids as much as he has said he did. I think KS has his own secrets to be revealed. It’s painfully obvious he doesn’t want the kids living in his house.
