So I did some reading. You know I love learning this legal stuff. 😂 but I *think* (if what I understood is correct), because KS was the only parent after SJ abandoned him and JD, and he had to be the main bread winner, this required someone else to look after his child - HD and YJ. To preserve his rights as father, he may have asked the family court to also declare him the legal guardian so no decision could be made on her welfare without his permission - because even though he is the father, he is entrusting her to the care of of his in-laws. Does that make sense?

Her marriages to KS? It wasn’t mentioned but assumed it was since they were living together in MIL’s house - I doubt she would allow him to live there if they weren’t married. And everyone that knew them said they were married. I think both of them have to show up to register a marriage and KS said he was married - so I am sure it was.

South Korea doesn’t have a No-Fault divorce. And the person at fault - I.e. the cheater, cannot file for a divorce, only the spouse who isn’t at fault can file - which means if you cheated and want to divorce so you can remarry, as long as the spouse who was cheated on wants to remain married, you have no choice but to stay married. I imagine there are some circumstances where a divorce would be allowed - like in Ks’s situation - he dated in good faith believing his wife was dead. The marriage is irrevocably broken by her desertion. He can file for Malicious Desertion as a cause. But I believe he won’t need to because she already divorced him. She is just stalling him from finding that out until she gets those stem cells. Once that is accomplished, she won’t need either one of them.

Yeah I don’t think jd’s paternity will be revealed until next week now - probably towards the end. I still do not believe SJ is the one sick though. Especially after the talk SD had with her. She definitely had another family.

I believe so because to add someone to a registry you have to supply supporting documents - same goes for a death.

Just like I texted you - if it goes to trial, the family court will look into the background and financial records of each spouse - this is why she isn’t wanting a “divorce” - because it will be revealed she is already divorced from him. She can’t have him finding that out just yet.

The problem with annulment is then it would come out that Ks is definitely not the father and in Korea, the presumption is always that the husband is the father of the child - which is why she carries his name and is on his registry. Of course that claim can always be challenged by a 3rd party but we know this isn’t the case here.

Personally, I think she divorced already. He isn’t married and hasn’t been for probably at least 9 years. And from what HS has said about her and the things the sisters have said, I am willing to bet she wouldn’t let KS touch her in any way that was sexual. She strikes me as a cold woman towards him.

Its obvious that this drama was not written in the manner the story was promoted or pitched. I don’t feel the writers invested any time or effort into this drama. Their lack of care for their own creation is obvious.

Imo, for what it is worth, i think Chairman will have to get involved once he finds out. He will be angry at first but once he sits in his room and thinks on it, he will not allow the witch to hurt KS or MR.

But she is not following what she signed up to do - she is being defiant and rebellious so she is the one who has the upper hand. I totally did not like him doxxing her - i despise that sort of thing. Not ok to EVER do that to someone. But she still AGREED to do what he asked. In essence she let it slide. Thats on her. But this is why character development for the better will make it worth the watch. You must still be watching?

And he isn’t even protecting his daughter. Shes already told him that she believes MR is poisoning him against her mom and he isn’t clarifying those assumptions. He is letting it slide. Ive never watched a drama where the ML was despised so much by the writers that they never gave him any character development at all to the point that even the audience couldn't even forgive him for being too nice.

They need to clear this up quickly. We have 11 episodes left. This is why i think she already divorced KS, remarried, had a kid. There is no time left for a divorce to take place.
