Maybe grandma didn’t know. Even if you go by the old Korean age it would still be 22 years - it’s weird that they always keep saying KS was abandoned by his dad when he was 20 - they don’t say KS was abandoned by his dad when he was a new born, or even when he was 2 years old - they have made it seem like mom gave birth and dumped him on dad immediately, who immediately dumped him on his own mother. They have never indicated KS was 2 years old when he was dumped. But it wouldn’t matter because you can’t erase 22years. Twenty-two years is Twenty-two years.

Let’s say we go by the old Korean age system - even if SD is 57 in Korean age, the youngest he could be by international age is 55 - but you would have to do the same with KS. You can’t get around the age discrepancy - it’s a 21 (at the least) to 22year age variance.

I work with numbers for a living so this kind of thing just bugs me.

Hmm…so I was looking at the ages of the characters on the KBS site.

KS - 35 years old
SD - 57 years old

That doesn’t add up.

That is a 22 year difference. KS and SD, both, have said repeatedly that KS was abandoned by his dad when his dad was 20. So how is that possible?

So now I have to wonder - is KS even SD’s son? Is this why he couldn’t register his birth?

Just watched another earlier episode where Soo Ji is telling Jae Hyun that MR should not marry JH because she should not upset the management - meaning the hierarchy - she doesn’t want the Dong’s to get their hands in the shares MR has. She then says “ MR should marry an average guy with an average life because you are the heir and it all needs to go to our son.” So…Soo Ji is going to be an ally for KS and MR to be together because she wants MR to marry an average guy. This would be the perfect way for KS to be a long lost grandson…

I still have my suspicions of him. Seeing him in those earlier episodes, his expressions and what he says - he hasn’t impressed me much.

In the very first episodes he appears he says he was his driver right out of high school and then his personal assistant. He’s known the chairman a long time.

He was chairman’s driver right out of high school and then became his personal assistant - he’s moved up to Director now - I think he is not loyal to chairman at all - I think his loyalty is with Big D and helping him take over the company. The enemy within.

When daddy-o dumps her for MR she will be even angrier.

Well I had a super long post to this and MDL kicked me out and I lost it all. 😡 I don’t even want to rewrite it now. Long story short - KS, HS, and Sun Ju have known each other since grade school. MIL is the only mom he has ever really known.

His mom abandoned him right after she gave birth to him and he “heard” she died not long after that.. his mom dumped him on his dad and his dad dumped him on KS’s grandmother to raise.

I need YJ to be strong. I don’t want any heads hanging down - can you imagine her first meeting with Big D? 😂😂

I was thinking as I was watching them take those awkward glances at each other in HS’s place that he looks like a teen boy in the thralls of his first love. He’s so awkward and yet so adorable. She will be his first girlfriend. I do not believe he loved Sun Ju this way. I think what he felt for her was gratitude for helping him over his painful time with his grandmother and he only remained faithful to her because of JD. If JD had been ok with it, he’d have divorced Sun Ju and moved on years ago. KS is very innocent of love with a woman. He’s such a sweet guy and I cannot imagine someone like lusty HR getting her nasty hooks in him. MR is perfect for him. Just wait until he reveals JD isn’t his bio daughter. I wonder if he will tell her on his own or if it will get revealed by HS and/or Sun Ju.
