It’s definitely a super slow burn but honestly, once I stopped looking at the romance part and started paying attention to the storylines more, it really didn’t bother me as much. It’s more about KS’s journey with raising his daughter and the sacrifices he has made. It’s a family drama so I just left the romance at the door so to speak - it will happen but this isn’t your typical romance family drama as much as it is just about families as a whole. I have found the characters quite interesting once I looked at it differently. It’s frustrating with HR, SD and even JH but they are needed to give us more insight into KS and MR as a whole.

Ahhh so he did go buy another bracelet - I bet Yoo Jin went back and picked up that other bracelet - you can bet she is going to wear it in front of MR.

Edit - just re-read what you posted and it seems as if it may be the same bracelet - so JH went back to the river and picked it up and gave it to MR. What a scumbag.

No you didn’t miss it, they didn’t show it. Must be happening tomorrow. I’ve noticed the previews don’t necessarily happen the next day.
We still haven’t seen the scene where JH is asking himself why he is feeling this way either.

HR deserves what she gets. KS tries to pull JD from the academy but HR seems to talk him out if it. She is STILL using JD as an excuse to stay close to KS.

Just binged all 4 episodes - I hadn’t planned on doing that - was going to wait for more episodes to air before watching but once I started I couldn’t stop. I already love this drama. Can’t wait for the next 2 episodes.

Agreed! 100 %. I lost respect for her earlier than that when she was trying to carry a drunken KS to a hotel room. We call that rape.

So I am going to go back to HR and when she started thinking she had feelings for KS. It was right after her ex sent her the wedding invitation or she saw it, to his much younger GF that he was cheating on HR with. She has known KS for years. KS and HS are both 35 and KS said they have been friends for 20 years. This means he has known HS since he was 15 - same age as JD is now. We assume in knowing and hanging around HS that he also knew HR - she would have been 20 at the time.

HR has said she was married 10 years - the same length of time that KS’s wife has been missing. So KS was married 5 years before she was. When he married at 20, she was 25. She is now 40 which means she married at 30. KS was semi-happily married (or at least he was) for 5 years BEFORE HR even got married. So the whole time his wife has been missing, she got married and remained married for 10 years and would still be married if her cheating ex hadn’t divorced her. She has known KS for a long long time and he has certainly made it known he was not divorcing and was waiting for his wife to come home.

HR tells HS she likes a challenge and is not giving up on KS. To me she is admitting he is a challenge. He is married so that makes him unattainable. I think she just wants to show her ex that she too can snag a younger, gorgeous (yes, there I go again with the word gorgeous 😉) guy and remarry as well. I don’t think she has feelings for him, she has lust for him.

For those sympathizing with HR and feeling sorry for her…while JD was indeed wrong, let’s not forget that HR had plans to have her way with KS in a hotel room while he was drunk off his rocker.

Well we know KS is never going to say anything bad to his daughter. 😂

Lol we pretty much got the conversations today except I was wrong in thinking MIL was trash talking HR - she was telling HS to stay away from KS too.

Lol I just had that weird thought about Jd going to Mr’s house for private lessons since HS and MIL want her out of the academy. That’s the only way MR and JD will have any kind of interaction. Honestly it would be better because then JD would get to know her new future family better. 😂 I can see JD and chairman meeting for first time. And tbh, she would get better guidance from them - even though they are rich they are all pretty down to earth with the exception of SJ and even she has her moments of actually being human.

Open minded to a blood related brother and sister being together? No. If they are not blood related that is a different story.

Well HS has been antagonistic towards KS’s affections for JD anyway - from the very beginning he has called him a fool for staying in a dead-end marriage for a daughter that isn’t biologically his. KS has always countered this with “there has never been a time that I didn’t think of JD as my own child” to KS, JD IS his daughter. It didn’t matter to him that she isn’t his biological daughter and I always thought it was disrespectful of HS to keep saying this. Maybe it’s best for KS and HS to part ways. HS is clearly going to stand by his sister even if he doesn’t think she is doing the right thing. Like I said, she is his sister and blood really is thicker than water sometimes when push comes to shove. I think this incident has made HS dislike JD even more, tbh. I hope KS stands firm and removes JD from the academy but then where does that leave JD and MR ? The story needs them to be in contact with each other so if she is removed there is no need for MR to be involved with JD and that won’t work. Unless MR offers to tutor JD privately. She could always go over to MR’s place and take lessons….and JP is there. 🫣🤫🤭

Absolutely, this all needs to be laid at HR’s feet. She should have kept her feelings for a married man to herself. Did she really believe that MIL would give her blessing for KS to divorce her daughter and marry her? It’s her daughter for Pete’s sake! So of course she is going to try and protect that marriage - even at the cost of holding KS emotionally hostage with guilt over her daughter leaving and disappearing for 10 years. HR has known KS for a long time - probably a lot longer than before he was even married - so she was around when he married and his wife left - she has known his thoughts about staying married - he hasn’t made any secret that he intends to never divorce. So because she is now divorced and lonely and probably wanting someone to sleep with, she has zeroed in on KS. She even admitted to HS today she likes a challenge - so I really think she doesn’t love KS, he’s unattainable and a “challenge” to her. And he is gorgeous (I know I keep saying that but he is and what woman wouldn’t notice that? 😍)

JD absolutely needs to be punished and marched over to JP’s home and apologize to him and his mom. If she has to go on her knees to do it, so be it. She really crossed the line by using HR’s business as a means to get back at her - it’s not just HR who will suffer from the bad reputation but HS, MR, and all the employees that may work there. MIL needs to step away from KS punishing his own daughter. This is the problem of living with family like this - grandparents that interfere in the raising of your child. Every time KS tries to discipline JD, MIL interferes. She needs to butt out. JD deserves for KS to raise his voice and get angry over what she did. I am shocked he hasn’t gotten angry enough to yell “you are selfish just like your mom!”.
